Never been to Supanova, and missed out last year, but hoping to go in June (SYD), cosplay isn't a pre-requisite is it? And what in particular is there to buy, cause I was not aware that people sell stuff there
Also Ray Park was at the Sydney event last year, kinda bummed I didn't get to meet him, and although there are some good guests this year like Lou Ferrigno, Laura Bailey & Michael Winslow, meeting Ray Park would have been awesome. _________________

I'm on the Krome booth again this year. Sunday afternoon from 2pm onwards.
As long as I get to meet James Marsters, it's all good. _________________

What sort of games would they sell there? And would they be like special editions or discounted or anything like that?

I'll probably pop down to the Melbourne one, so if anyone else is planning on going then we could possibly meet up. _________________

I'm planning on going to the Sydney Supanova for the first time this year! Can't miss out on meeting Felicia Day, Eliza Dushku and Tahmoh Penikett! Waka is crazy about Felicia Day so he'll be coming with me.
I am confused about the tickets though. If I get the $40 ticket, do I get to have pictures/autographs with the above people? Or does that cost more? If so, how much do the autographs cost? How much do figurines cost roughly? _________________

The $40 ticket pays to get you through the door. That's it. _________________

Have a look on the Supanova website, they've got a section dedicated to finding your most suitable ticket ^__^
Let us know how it turns out! I was so sad I missed out Maybe next year... _________________

I had already checked that out and it doesn't really help. I want to know if I can get the cheap Single Day Pass and then buy the autographs separately. The other tickets it lists on the site are all over $200! I can't afford that _________________

So buy the $23/$40 ticket and take your chances with the photos/autographs =P _________________

You do have to pay extra for autographs and meets and the like for Supanova, but I believe the most expensive of tickets were limited in number for special sub-events with said guests. At the Perth event, usually you only had to pay $30-50 to get a quick 2-3 min chat with one of the stars and an autograph and that was when you got there; we haven't had that many interesting guests over here just yet, though.
That said, I'm looking forward to meeting Vic Mignogna this year as I'm a huge fan of his work from FMA; I also managed to get my copy of Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 signed by both Sean Schemmel (Goku) AND Christopher Sabat (Vegeta, Piccolo) through the previous two events.

Now I'm excited. Eliza Dushku (Faith & Echo) and Tahmoh Penikett (Helo) are confirmed as the last guests for the Perth/Sydney leg. I wasn't sure about this years lineup, but with those two added, Hulk and Charisma Carpenter, plus my newly discovered interest in Felicia Day ... i'm even thinking of flying to sydney again.
