I think its time to let the major developers know what we are looking for in the next generation of consols. If you think you have a revolutionary idea, be it style or practicality I would like to know about it.
Ideas can be submitted in either text or graphic.
This is my idea.
Tell me what you think.

I think you might be on to something there. Not enough consoles have tape decks. Finally, I can listen to my Bros. cassingles again.

Could we fit a toasting device on the right hand side, and integrate a coffee machine into exhaust vent area? I think an optional chrome trim would be ideal for the modern gamer/breakfasteer on the go. _________________

A wireless signal sender that connects to other consoles within a 20 mile radius. Would be cool to narrow it down and play against neighbors with ease

I would personally like to see a larger volume knob. Sort of like the kind you'd find on an AV Receiver, or perhaps even larger. And is it possible for the exhaust port to look a little bit more like this?
Other than that, though, I think you're on to something big here. I have long thought that there was a lamentable lack of pedals in today's gaming experience. Tell me, these antennae are telescopic, yes? _________________

personally i want something like this
but with surround speakers in it, a closing door to my gaming pod with a 1080p lcd in it.
It should also have a nice path with a shrubbery.... _________________ kill, kill, kill.....the white man. Kill the white man, kill

Its good, but the lack of something bacon related is a serious flaw. Im thinking maybe a bacon dispenser, or bacon hat. _________________

What advantages does it have over a train? Which I could also afford. _________________

You know, that was actually one of the first thoughts I had with such an idea. Consoles inherently produce a fair amount of heat which can cause system malfunction, so in order to provide a stable experience one has to expend the heat produced through regular functioning this works with a toasting device almost flawlessly since the toaster outputs could then couple as a really bloody large exhaust for heat outtake when not in use.
Then you have to consider getting up every few minutes to get the toast, but with the concept of movies why not then have a rotatable base so that the toaster can fire off the toast into a buttered wall before falling onto a track of vegemite only to then be carried off to a spring and launch on a plate. Now this plate could be attached to a weight sensitive pad tied into a wireless transmitter that then activates a receiver attached to an "optional" coffee machine with inspector gadget hand to then give it to you when done.
Now, the toaster itself will have a little valve attached to a cup so that you can also boil an egg in it using the heat exhaust and then we come to the crux of the system itself.
Top loading vinyl player behind that which is a double loading sided by side NES, SNES top loading device, CD, DVD, Blu-Ray player, grill space for bacon or toasted sammiches and tape deck with AM/FM radio below. (because what Aussie bloke doesn't want to be gaming while listening to the footy?) output provided could then attach a hotplate for kettles and noodley goodness, it could also provide a power port for portability so that one may plug their TV / Monitor into it to then harness the nuclear power source (I'm thinking plutonium rods, this beast would be like a mini bloody town) as well as outputs for bar fridges and the like.
The controller would be triple task, it would be a domed seat with surround sound and retractable desk area for keyboard & mouse input, it would be solar operated and contain battery chargers as standard and it would also contain pockets for a base 4 button + 4 shoulder button +2 joystick controller design with removable faceplate to emulate titles (thus if one wanted to play SNES the base controller would have all emulation switched off for it unless the faceplate was attached for SNES configuration through main board integration) and in the case where one wishes to have a joystick, steering wheel or other attachment, the seat would recline and the optional extra would be called via an in game menu to be activated from underneath the seat (so for instance when reclining the foot rest would section off to 2-3 pedals while a steering wheel is then brought forward from the space provided)
Now then, as far as visuals go they'd then have to release a 3x standard of vision to cater for the front and peripheral vision with both side panels angling around 35-45 degree to the front on view so as to cater for distance and angle.
Integration and food stuffs.

Alrighty.. Thanks everyone for the feedback! I have gone and up-dated the Game Max 4000 with as many of the things I could work into the design plan as possible.
I did how ever leave out the solar panels/death star sized exhaust for the following reasons...
- Unlike the death star the Game Max has no weakness.
- The Game Max is kept inside; alas a solar panel probably wouldn’t work. This could how ever be a possible external plug in down the track. Which is handy as the Game Max would require around the same amount of power to run as your average industrial cooler.
If any one has the ability to create a 3D render that would be awesome as I will probably pitch this to Nintendo/Sony and Microsoft.

So we're cloning Miranda Kerr now?
That's going to get a lot of us into trouble with various significant others, perhaps she can be an optional extra so I...I mean those of us with said significant others do not get castrated.

It should be able to have a modified version made especially for this console of linux installed to it. But only on the first two versions of the console. People who buy the 'slim' version will not be able to install said OS. _________________
