Might be a Safari issue. I just tried using Firefox and it worked first go. Are you using Safari browser by any chance? |
I just tried, I get a blank page too after hitting submit in Safari. I updated my profile a week or so ago, so it must have just recently started.

Tried latest version of IE and Firefox and has the same problem as Sambo110.
My sig is very outdated and I can't do anything about it!!!. Have been attempting to change my sig since last Monday!
Edit - Done, can confirm it now works in IE8, just had to do it twice.
However, the site looks misaligned in IE8 unless I turn on "Compatibility Mode". I know it is most likely just different browser standards on HTML, just need to say something icon_razz.gif _________________ "Work hard now, play even harder later"

I had the same issue with Firefox, so I used IE and was able to update my signature. _________________

It is possible to make a system so that a banned user could access PMs and not interrupt whatever they need to in the Game Exchange forum but not allowing access to other area of the forum (and change sig, avatar etc) unless they are banned as a result of being a bad trader in the Game Exchange?
This isn't in the interest of the banned person, it is for the people who is dealing in the Game Exchange with the banned person who could be in a middle of a process of selling/buying/trading. _________________ "Work hard now, play even harder later"

I'd like to know why I was banned, I got a 24 hr ban saying I "advocated piracy". All I posted was "have you thought about xxxx?", I did not provide any links to said sites and those sites aren't just the exclusive domain of piracy, it is also a means to distribute items which are freeware. _________________ RIP Buddha 19/10/1952 - 03/01/2004

I think you just bought yourself another 24hr banned by saying the exact phrase which got you ban in the first place.

That wasn't the phrase that you posted, and don't pretend you were suggesting legal torrents. You've been here long enough to know the rules, not to mention you were a mod who enforced them, so a 24hr ban is reasonable.
24hrs away from PALGN wasn't the end of the world was it? If it was, then you'll be doubly sure not to do it again. _________________

Just thought I should bring it to the attention of the almighty PALGN staff (which for all I know am working on fixing it already) that the forums now look terrible in expanded view now (and collapsed was terrible to begin with )

Hey dudes, can we get some black bar spoiler tags up in this bitch?
What type of forum software is this? IP Board? If so spoiler tags are readily available.

will black bar the text in between so it cannot be read without a highlight.
Its pretty standard these days across the board. _________________

It's phpBB, but there's plenty of hacks for it so finding a spoiler one should be quite easy.
It's pretty much essential these days for gaming forums to have spoilers so I wholeheartedly agree with this request.

Hello PALGN editors!
I am currently doing an assignment for uni, an article we have to send into our local paper. Im doing mine on the tax offset the games industry doesnt receive and how we should get it this year with the new bill etc. I thought who better than a palgn staff member to be interviewed! If one of you could answer the following question it would be a huge help! ill be sure to let you know if you pop up in my local paper.
How do you think the Australian games industry would benefit, if at all, from a tax offset similar to what the Australia film industry currently receives?
Thanks in advance for your help, the floor is open to any palgn writer, or anyone whos reading this who works as a game developer!
