I want an ipad so bad but the whole 3G wifi data plan thing and the fact that it'd be mostly a lemon (no wifi access at work i can get into) and 3G (at the mercy of australian ISP's mobile internet pricing and plans)..etc really means its going to be interesting if I do get one.

plants vs zombies HD? LOL. That's like the pc version no? Gotta say it was in my GOTY set (PC) last year so great game!

Interesting how they label them as HD when the screen's native resolution is only 1024x768.

Some console games run at that resolution, or less, and are just upscaled to 720P, yet they are still HD.

HD in terms of monitors only requires a vertical resolution of greater than 625 pixels. Don't buy into a certain company's marketing trash talk.

1024x768 is "HD", it's over 720 pixels in height, obviously being 4:3 it isn't as wide, but as nikack just said, vertical resolution 625px or above means "HD"

Yay, we've had HD for the past 15 years!

No interest in the iPad at all, Apple need to go back to being the forefront of technology rathar than just flaunting there name and image all over the place with subpar equipment.

Oh how I miss the old Apple.

While I'm in no way defending the iPad, I think you're missing a big part of what Apple do well. It's not just hardware that counts - it's software design and online infrastructure. The iPhone may not be terribly impressive in its hardware - everyone gets it for the App Store. The iPad has that similar advantage - Apple have handled the developer community very well, and in turn done great things for independents who would otherwise not have access to such a wide market.

Apparently putting "HD" at the end of EVERY gaming title makes them super special. I wish they had a catchy tag which could guarantee that the game was actually be fun.
