4.9 Mbps with some speed lower than 500 kbps that I can't remember for uploads. Can't use speedtest on here cause it uses flash but I have a throughput meter in my menubar on my notebook which informs me these things. Curiously I only have a 1.5 Mbps plan with Telstra...

I don't know why everyone's obsessed about speed... I only care about quotas icon_biggrin.gif you can download anything even on an ordinary speed connection, you just leave things downloading overnight.. I upgraded my internet recently just for the 100GB quota so I don't have to worry about being capped icon_biggrin.gif I used to be capped every month about half way through the month icon_cry.gif soo happy that wont be happening anymore...

Heres mine anyway:

Seems my speed has dropped since Optus 'updated the server'. It was previously around 10mbps.

I'm capped currently because as if I'm up at 7am on a Saturday to manually shut off the non automated downloads.

And yeah it sucks, but the schmucks signing up for the same plan are even more int he suck since I at least got in before they "updated" the plan from 16gb to 15gb.

Extra GB for me! icon_biggrin.gif That I used anyway. icon_cry.gif

edit;

So yeah, this is me shaped @ 256 ADSL

Cry for me, especially since I can see the exchange just across the street from my driveway.

Edit yet again;

Woo past midnight, no more shaping!

I don't understand either, though it might explain why I never get lag in games with dedicated servers (MW2 on the other hand...).

Of course, it might have been some sort of fluctuation too. I'm using Optus Cable by the way, as opposed to ADSL2+.
