Usually around $70 - $100, quite a few people have said there quite good for the price of $70 - $100 so for $25 you couldn't go wrong i guess

dunno but lo. they're selling them 2nd hand for $249? so if edge makes it $220... they make a $29 profit? Times are hard I guess.... because EB is needing to make $29-$49 bucks? How much do they pay their staff again?

yes but little johnny would trade it in and get $200 store credit - and spend it on two full retail price games... so in reality EB Games have made $49 from selling the wii to someone else and also about $25 off both retail games...

I keep seeing people selling Street Fighter IV Collector's Edition on the buy/trade forum section at exorbitant prices, which is making me angry.
You can get SF4 CE from the UK for around A$35 delivered (places like 365games). So second hand, people really shouldn't be paying more than A$30, less if items like codes have been used.
I got my copy from 365games' ebay shopfront around xmas time for A$36 delivered, and the A$ gotten stronger since then.

Trade value = $93 at eb.
So.... i can buy GOW3 for say $80 at bigw/target/kmart, trade it in at eb for $93 + edge bonus. Get them to price match bigw/target/kmart, use my credit to buy this price matched GOW3. Trade this back into them for another $93 + edge bonus. Rinse, repeat.
Think of me when eb games owes you $1000 credit.

Technically you can, but alot of staff will be pissed off if they see you returning and buying and trading the same game over and over. Some mightn't care too much, but I think most of them will eventually deny you the sale or trade. At least they will definitely think of you as a very cheap person.

Sure, buy the game cheaper somewhere, play it and then trade it when you done with it, but to buy multiple copies and exploit the trade in system....Well I don't agree with it at all.
Why do you think the trade values are slow low and drop quickly? Think about that.

Honestly doing once should be enough, and now EB doesn't seem to allow same person to trade multiples anyway (even at different stores and on different days), that's what I heard, as they do have your ID when processing the trade. Back then when Modern Warfare 2 is released, there are many people trading multiple copies as EB probably not aware of this. But after their special trade deals of AC2, ME2, BS2 probably many people try to take advantage of this and they try to tighten the system.
And I assume you are not in NSW, otherwise you cannot get a giftcard but have to use the credit right away.

Sure sounds like you where planning to do this, by your post.
As for posting it so bargain hunters can know, I'm sure everyone works out these deals and know's they can make a few extra bucks. However alot of people on this people forum don't like these exploits being done, me included.
