The first of these uses the [url=][/url] tag; whatever you type after the = sign will cause the contents of that tag to act as a URL. For example, to link to phpBB.com you could use:
[url=http://www.phpbb.com/]Visit phpBB![/url] _________________

Can anyone tell me roughly how long it would take to be notified of a speeding ticket? I may have been caught at Wollongong on the way down to Kiama around the 21st of January, havent recieved anything as of yet.

They usually take a while. It will come just as you start thinking "wooohoo I must have got out of it" ... then BAM! It shows up in your letter box. Usually at about the same time you have just paid rego, insurance, bills, etc and are totally broke. _________________

Did you hold down the whammy bar at all when turning it on? That can screw it up on any controller. Make sure when you turn it on it is completely up.

Has anyone traveled overseas with medication before? I have 24 bottles of malaria tablets (each bottle has only around 7 pills) I need to take with me to the US then Ecuador. There are so many as you need to take 1 a day. I've looked on Australia and US customs sites and they say you can take as medication as you want as long as you have a letter from your Dr and it's no more than you could use in the time you are there. But I'm worried that customs, especially in the US, will think 24 small containers of pills is suspicious.
Any advice? (Can't contact customs at this time as it's too late). _________________

Is it possible to fix the grammatical error in the title of this thread? It irks me every time it's resurrected. _________________ My Photos

It is possible, but now that I know it irritates you, it won't be.

This one's just a color call:
Which version of "I Wanna Be Your Man" is better: The Beatles original, or the Stones cover?

I travelled all over Europe with my meds, and I'm just about to do it again to Thailand (arguably more dodgy to do given their stance on drugs). You just need a letter from your doctor, explaining what the pills are and what they're for. Keep it all in its original packaging. If you're concerned about the quantity looking suspicious, just make sure you have the documentation showing your itinerary and how long you're away for. Your doctor's note should have the dosage that you're taking (ie 1 per day) and then customs can do the maths. It's advisable to split some between your carry on and checked baggage, so if either bag is lost you still have some of your meds until you can get replacements. _________________

might also be worth checking with the appropriate embassies, as some perfectly legal medicines here might be illegal elsewhere, even with a doctor's note - and they mightn't be so friendly as to simply destroy the medicines at the border.
definitely read through www.smartraveller.gov.au's section on health. _________________

Last year when I went to China for a holiday with my mum and brothers, we had quite a large quantity of medicine, not quite sure what it was but I'm almost sure it was for malaria and something else (combined tablet protects against 2 things..) and yes, it was 1 daily. We got through customs fine.. _________________

They will probably be more worried about what you are trying to smuggle out of Ecuador than anything else.

It's a licensed Second Hand Dealer, which iirc requires you to be 18. _________________
