incredibly variable, it'll be fine for 20 minutes, then it'll take 10-15 seconds to load a page, then fine again. |
Me too.

I personally during 9-5 check PALGN on iphone and I've been saying it crawling on the phone. I blame it on the fancy backgrounds. Dunno if they are still active but when the bioshock2 one was up, couldn't even type properly on the iphone. _________________

The problem I'm having is initiating the download of each page, once my page download progress bar actually starts PALGN loads in a usual timeframe, however sometimes I catch myself looking at it empty where it seems like nothings going to happen, kinda like when you click on a link but nothing loads then you realised you clicked millimetres away from it XD But it could be my browser doing that?
Firefox, iPrimus, Western Sydney area.

I get slowdown at work and at home. The slowdowns are on and off and the behaviours are similar when at work and at home.
Because both the networks are different, i believe it has got to be my browser and add-ins of choice which are somewhat identical. Firefox and WinXP.
I remembered i was browsing across tabs and PALGN is in the slow load mode. I switched tab and had to turn off my Ad-Block Plus. Immediately, PALGN finished loading. I thought for a sec, turn it back on, and hit refresh. PALGN was loading slowly again.
I experienced that at some sites before, and it was because I blocked off some external sites and causes the current site to be stuck until the external call timed out. _________________ 「貧乳はステータスだ!希少価値だ!」 - 泉 こなた

This has gone beyond a joke. The site keeps getting slower and slower. Most pages take a good fifteen seconds to start loading (and it's not a browser issue). Really starting to piss me off at this stage.

It's starting to get very annoying. I'm sure I've had times when it takes over 30 seconds to load up a page, either at work or home.

It just seems to randomly become really slow every minute or slow. There's no problems here as every other site I visit is normal.

Yeah, one minute it loads up fine, then you go to post or check out another thread and it lags.
I'm extremely disappointed that this wonderful free forum is not up to scratch!
(Kidding aside, the reason I say this is because the people who pay for the site's hosting has a cause to complain about it because it's dodgy)

Optusnet in melbourne, firefox....
Usually loads instantly, but sometimes I click something in the forum and can be waiting up to two minutes for it to actually do it. I'd estimate once a day lasting about 10 mins. When this happens saving changes to my profile also fails (loads a blank page). _________________
