According to sources over at Ecogamer, both Bayonetta and Darksiders are available on the 3 for 1 trade deal as of tomorrow...

Source was a staff member at JB...

Assuming for both consoles too... 360 and PS3...

Makes sense, as they updated their exclusion list today

Game at Southland Victoria, have 3 copies of Beatles Rock Band LE Bundle PS3 for $199 if anyone is interested. I think everyone is trying to offload the game now. And from what I can tell the PS3 versions are hard to find now but I might just have my head in the sand.

I picked up a copy today and the staff are great to deal with.

+1 to this. I just got a 3-4-1 x360 Darksiders copy for my friend. Funny thing is that the staff wasn't aware of it, he was gonna deny the 3-4-1 for it, until I said that people on a forum reported they were able to do it in other States. So he spent like 2 minutes on the computer and then told me, yeah its doable.

So yeah, if ur local JB staff denies it, then just tell them the promotion started today and ask they to check.

Just got Darksiders, with the figure included. So summing up I got both Bayonetta and Darksiders for $39 each (6x $13 pre owned games from EB). Pretty happy!

Nah, there's a fairly large exclusion list you'll want to check out if you're considering doing the 3 for 1 deal. Have a look at http://www.jbhifi.com.au/games/excluded-games.pdf if you're interested.

The cheapest games that aren't on the exclusion list are (courtesy of ecogamer) -

Samurai Warriors 2 - $13
Cars Mater-National - $13
Bomberman: Act Zero - $13
MotoGP 07 - $13

If you have any trouble finding them, you can get 3x $20 games. A $60 new release game is still very good. Again, just check the exclusion list.

I tried looking for those $13 at my local eB a few days ago but they were all gone. But, as u said, getting 3x $20 games for trade-in a new release title u wanna play is still an excellent deal

Any chance you could mix it up say 2xps3 & 1x360 game, or 3x360 games for a ps3 game or big no-no?

I asked the dude, he said u can only get the game for the console of the games u traded in, thus 3xXbox for 1 Xbox game, 3xPS3 for 1 PS3 game, etc. I didn't ask about mixing it up, but I'd imagine it should be a NO, unless ur JB has cool videogame section manager that allows it.

Pretty sure it was covered somewhere else that the computers themselves wouldn't actually allow it. So even if you knew the person putting through the deal, they wouldn't be able to put through a mix trade.

I was at Highpoint yesterday and noticed BIGW had a managers special of the PS Eye for $20. They had 2 (or 3) left when I was there around 1-2pm yesterday.

Picked up Bayonetta for a grand total $55 at jb today. Traded Mass Effect ($20 from Myer), Cars Matel or whatever ($15 from Myer) and Nascar 08 ($20 from EB). Myer has quite a lot of trade bait if you cant find any at EB.
