Lets hope they pull it off, just bothered to watch the trailers then and man its amazing. DO WANT. But not if its going to be a muddy laggy abortion of a game.

Unfortunately people that have played the NA/Euro Bayonetta on the ps3 have confirmed it has not been fixed, thus those probably were either just rumors or empty promises. The only possible fix option now, if any, appears to be a downloaded patch.
I'm glad I bought a 360 recently  Not even gonna touch the ps3 version of this game....i hate it when they release subpar ports and shove it in the face of gamers, like a slap on the face with a frozen fish.

I was thinking of picking up this game early as Big W, my work, has the PS3 version in already. I do however have the 360 Climax version preordered though....

It weakens the game franchise brand too when this happens. People can blame Sega all they want but it wont really matter. After you play a bad version of the game, it weakens the overall feel of it in general on a whole. No matter how many people say it was awesome and all, it wont change the opinion of the individual.
This is what I am worried about as a PS3 only gamer. I was interested in this series but I have avoided everything about this game so I don't ruin the experience when I pick it up. Hopefully, all theses complaints are just exaggerated fanboy talk and wont affect the game when I finally buy it.

Tossing up whether to get the Climax edition or not. It looks OK but not sure if it's worth the $109. No doubt JB will be selling it for $79 so is it worth the $30 more?

Well according to their website, the regular edition will be $89. So we're talking about $20 worth of extras. Which isn't too bad considering we're talking about an artbook, soundtrack and toy gun.

$89 huh. That makes the GAME trade-in deal even better. They have a trade-in a game (certain list, but some older titles on there) and get it for $29.95.
I think I'll be doing that.

I'll probably go with bigw's price of $78 then use the $25 gift voucher I got for xmas against it. At first was wanting to go with the climax edition but at the end of the day I couldn't really justify the extra money it costs.
I'll probably regret it later though.

Nothing under the counter about it at JB Brisbane MacArthur Central (Queen St). Signs all over, trade 3 get 1 Climax Edition free, sealed disc cases prominently displayed at the checkout too. I asked the guy at the counter if it is already released, he just took the case and asked if I wanted to buy it.

Streetdate has been broken indeed, I just picked my Climax preorder up from GAME in Brisbane
Haven't opened it yet, but I think somebody on the official Platinum Games forum already did a review of the gun, and I remember them saying quality is not very good. I'm fine with that, its just for collection, not gonna go around showing it off or anything.

I called a couple of JBs in Brisbane and they said the trade 3 get Bayonetta doesn't exist. I might wait a few days and see what happens as I have 3 games I really don't want anymore.

Right after reading the above posts, I jumped into the car and headed to the shopping centre. EB and JB had it on the shelf, but not GAME - unless they had sold out.
This game probably wasn't actually street dated, which is why it is out 'early'.

DAMMIT! I was really hoping Darksiders will be on the tradein deal. Did they mention why those 2 games wouldn't be?
