That's actually around 1/10th of the players that I usually see in the online player count in-game (It's usually between 24-30k a day)...
That being said, saw a guy get banned when he joined a game. Pretty hilarious.

External programs such as aimbots. And or modifying dll files is enough to get vac banned.

Most people are cheating because of their dissatisfaction of the game being without dedicated servers. IW pathethically said that VAC would stop cheaters as a reason why we didnt need dedicated servers and the abillity to kick or moderate games ourselves.

I find it odd that trying to stop cheats increase the amount of cheaters , or they were just lying to sell some DLC on PC

that hack looks like it would be fun for about 60 seconds... after that it totally destroys the rest of the game

I too wish to know more!
Either way, if this is not endorsed by orginasations like 3fl or Game Arena, Internode etc., unless a good chunk of the community shell out the money for dedicated servers, it may be limited. Especially in the aussie community, where its notable on server lists on CoD4 or on any game with dedicated servers you have played, the high ping servers in the 200-400 region out number the <100 servers vastly.
