Guys, I can play online no worries and its great.

Although when I try and invite a friend from the same suburb as me, we always get the same error that the game is no longer in session and he cant join my party or anything.

Anyone experienced this?

I think it is happening to everyone at the moment. 100% of my friends list playing it is experiencing it.

My Nat says Strict? What should it be?

Played online last night connections were bad, never had anything above two yellow bars. Couldn't get friends to join and didn't see the usual aussies online mainly UK boys.

@john_solids, the scrolling message at the bottom of screen was saying you were playing online in map Karachi for about 3 hours straight without change???

I had the same problems last night, even though I had private friend matches earlier during the day.

My NAT says open, I hope this problem is fixed soon/today, as I spent over an hour inviting friends to matches last night and they couldn't join.

NAT should always be open for COD games, so It's definitely not a problem on your end Andy.

It's just a bug with the game, they should patch it soon.

In the meantime, here is how to join a party. The other person sends you an invite, you sign out, back in then accept it and apparently it works ever time.

My NAT says moderate, and I've noticed my ping hasn't passed yellow yet. Do I need to change something? I've already port forwarded for Live.

at least moderate i would say. well thats mine anyway. open would be ideal.

deffinetly not, i dont think anyway lol.

got your invite a bit to late the other night, look forward to kicking your ass lol.

@crows2009 - in your network settings on the ps3's settings, you really want a nat type 2 if its using a wireless internet connection, or a nat type 1 if its wired (obviously better) nat type 3 being the worst, i would give you a link if i was on the computer but im on my ipod at the moment.

but in short putting your ps3's ip address in the dmz on your router should give you a nat type 2 and open all your ports. (why didnt i say that in the first place? lol)

Patch arriving before friday for friend invite issues...

I've heard two solutions, will feedback later with whichever works best.

1) delete and re-add friend on PSN
2) Invite friend a) they receive msg but don't open it, b) log out of PSN, c) log back in, d) jump into game e) open invite accept and should work...

The old system was so much bloody better!!! this is way too convoluted now!

BUt all being said....hold cow...what a game! icon_smile.gif the gameplay has changed totally and really made it more tactical and yeah! FTW! icon_wink.gif

I think at first you had green ping cause there were mainly Australians (wasn't out in America). The patch today doesn't fix the invites, it's for something else. Is the minimum size for a patch 15 megs? They never seem to be smaller.
