It really sucks when people do such craptacular packaging. One time I bought a rather hard to find figure for US$90 with shipping and the shipper sent the package in just some poorly placed layers of bubble wrap and wrapped in plastic. Needless to say, while the figure itself is safe, the box is dented horribly and ripped in a few places as well. What sucks most is its one of my favorite figures.

Same here, but i didn't pay for the games, i just traded in two of my games @ GAME and they gave me $13 + 3games

Well, I for one did NOT buy Modern Warfare 2... no way...
...I traded 3 games for it and got it free from EB. The Answer beat me by $4, the games I traded costing $50 all up. And one of them was Spiderman: Friend of Foe, the ownership of which has caused me genuine shame since purchase.
Let us never speak of it again.

Modern warfare 2 Prestige edition x 2 copies.
I bought one from in store and also had one delivered. The one i got from the store is in good condition but the one that was sent by mail was in a box as stated above with no bubble wrap at all. The game box was to big for the outer box. And also it has damage on the outside. Wtf EB.

If I paid 200 bones for a game, I'd be on the phone first thing about that packaging. It is simply inexcusable to put a $200 item in the post in that condition.

Don't want to gloat (OK kind of do), but I can beat that:
Managed to pick up seven PS3 games for $82.50 at Cash Converters on Saturday. They had 50% off all PS3 games.
Conan – $10
Skate – $10
GRID – $10
Burnout Paradise – $12.50
Need for Speed – ProStreet – $12.50
Mercenaries 2 – $12.50
Far Cry 2 – $15 (Keeping this one)
Traded in Conan, Need for Speed and Burnout at JB for Modern Warfare 2.
Then traded MW2 @ EB for $104.50.
Then went to another EB and got MW2 price matched to Dick Smith $77 and Little Big Planet price matched to Target $39.95. Had to add $12.45.
So all up MW2 and LBP cost me $44.95.
It's a small hassle, but worth it as otherwise I couldn't afford to get all these games that are coming out.
PS. The remainder will be traded next week for Assassin's Creed II.

So it was exactly the same as mine? that's such bad form... I wonder what my response will be from EB when/if they reply to me.

Yeah, same here ... my prestige edition which is a gift for my nephew arrived today in pretty bad shape as well ... the top front part with the plastic window is heavily dented and one corner at the back is abit dented. Not to mention other minor rips. Also paid for insurance along with postage.
Agree that the packaging is horrible. The other package that arrived today as well from JB which contains my Tekken wireless stick bundle is perfect due to proper packaging. I will also shoot an email to complain to EB ...

I'm definitely going to make a complaint, no outer protection either and the box was a fraction smaller than the prestige box so a couple of corners have been slightly torn, but nothing major compared to Shadow Wave's condition. I also ordered a second prestige edition for a mate directly after I made my initial order, but it hasn't even been shipped, only the first one. And EB have taken the $10 deposit for each unit.
At least I had a couple of other boxes arrive today in much better condition:
COD:MW 2 Prestige Edition - $208 shipped (EB website)
Final Fantasy VII 1/8 resin statues of Cloud and Sephiroth, new - $90 each, shipped (Ebay)
Korn Kruntz figures - $90 shipped (Ebay US)

Finished my last exam this afternoon and strolled into the city for some retail therapy:
I tried to trade in 3 ps3 games I wasn't playing (GT5 Prologue, Warhawk and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 - GT5 is coming out soon, Warhawk was decent but I never played it so meh, and I ended up buying Vegas 2 on pc anyway  ) at JB for a second copy of CoD:MW2 on ps3, to trade in at EB with EDGE card for 104.50, but their servers were down and I couldn't, so I just bought my PC copy and walked out defeated. However, on my way to the bus, I happened to notice a huge banner outside GAME: "We will not be beaten on trade in deals!"
Hmm.....
10 minutes later, walked out -3 ps3 games, +1 CoD:MW2 ps3.
Walked into the EB 10 meters away, traded it in for 104.50, and paid 24.50 for Tekken 6 Hoodie Bundle
The EB guys were pretty suspicious, they were asking where I got it from... made up a story that I already had a copy of CoD:MW2 waiting for me at home, which I found out about after having bought this copy from GAME... (not entirely a lie either, I had CoD:MW2 PC in my bag, so....)

Yeah mate exactly the same. I sent a complaint as well. My Dog could pack a product better then that.
btw is it just me or do those bloody goggles hurt your eyes after you use them. I put them on for a few sec and my eyes hurt. I think i will just leave them as a display.

So I, like many here, aquired a copy of the Prestige Edition thanks to EB's second round of offerings. Sadly, like many others, it was poorly packaged for me aswell.
It is not in 100% condition, I would say 99.9%. Not gonna bother complaing, will see how Shadow Wave goes.

Pikmin - Wii - $20 - Saw this at a Kmart on my way to tafe and thought at that price I will see what all the hullabaloo is about.
