Far Cry was great until the mutants showed up. It all went down hill form there if you ask me. I feel the same way about Crysis and the aliens.

I just recently finished Professor Layton and Pandora's Box. It definitely lived up the the delightfulness of the first game and had an ending that somehow proved to be quite touching thanks to the great use of cutscenes, musical score and the voicework. I was also glad that Layton himself managed to pull off some unexpected awesomeness from out of nowhere once again, all the while proving to be quite the gentleman as always Hopefully it won't be as long a wait for the next game in the series to be translated into English _________________

Fight Night Round 4
Retired undefeated in Legacy mode
Beat Mike Tyson and M.Ali in G.O.A.T mode
Now the game can become trade bait.

Have you even played a Wolfenstein game before this one? Wolfenstein is supposed to have monsters in it, less so the first one.If you didn't like monsters in it then the game wasn't for you to begin with.

Have you played MGS2? The story in that was so confusing that it would make MGS4's story like reading a 2nd grade book.

Played through Fahrenheit OR Indigo Prophecy (as the US call it) with a mate over the last 2 days...
My thoughts are this game needs to be played for the first 30 minutes, its epic. Then gradually the game slowly takes downwards tumbles over the next 6 or so hours.
Fahrenheit is the game thats meant to play like a movie, so most of it is doing quick time events etc, which is really annoying as you have to do them during dialogue.. wtf?
Anyway, I let my mate do most of the playing of the game, and it was a very fun game to watch, its a got a great story... Although the last quarter of the game because extremely hard to follow and understand.
But as I said the intro is what makes this game awesome, its just a pity it loses track as the game progesses.
8.5/10 for me! _________________ http://bencadphotography.com/

Fallout ~ PC
Took a while to get used to the controls and combat systems (didn't find the instruction manual included on the disk until I'd finished the game), but I enjoyed it. Reasonably challenging (if a little frustrating at times) and overall a fun game.

Uncharted : Amond Thieves.
Very impressive. The first game was great, and i think this was a major step up on that. There's alot more in the way of enviroments this time around. The cover system seems to work better now, allowing you to duck around corners with relative ease, and Enemies didn't seem to just soak up bullets.
The final battle was much better, not just a QTE.
Solid game, 9/10 _________________

Just finished up with Witcher: Enhanced Edition.
What a fantastic RPG, and quite deserving of all the GOTY awards it received upon release. The backstory and lore behind the game is brilliant, and being a big fan of more realistic, darker forms of fantasy I really clicked with it. Combat was very easy to manage but also fairly tactical what with requiring research on monsters, alchemy management, spells and sword stances. The story was excellent as well, with an interesting and constantly turning chain of events which are dictated much by your actions on quests.
And that's probably the best part about the game, the choices in quests. Though games usually tend to give you the typical black and white decision of good and evil, Witcher tends to twist these things into choosing on what you believe is the lesser evil, much like the reality that we live in. Your choices dictate much of what happens throughout the game and though it may feel that it's a good thing on your part, it's going to inadversely affect some of the world in a bad way. There were a ton of these kinds of choices as well, and all seem to lead to something completely different, which only makes me want to blast through this game again asap.
It's a brilliantly paced and in-depth RPG, and an absolute blast to play through, all the while sucking you in for hours on end. Definitely my favourite RPG by far, and now I'm off to order the original books and anxiously await Witcher 2
Overall: 9.0 out of 10 _________________

Finally got around to finishing Uncharted 2. I had planned to finish it earlier today, but my time was occupied for most of the day by the MotoGP.
Anyway, fantastic game. The last few chapters were my least favourite, but overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable ride. Quite a humorous game too.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2
Hammering away at it, basically 30 minutes here and there.... after essentially a month (or there abouts) of buying it.... it's finally finished. I found it to be easier than the first game - difficulty level withstanding..... the original game had many missions that required you to goto a section of the map, that i had no idea how to get to (happened quite frequently - yes i should have taken that LEFT turn at Alberquerque.

Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia and Prof. layton and the curious village.
I blasted through Prof Layton, there were really only 2 or 3 puzzles that i really had to spend time on. I did 119/120, but i'm not fussed about completing it.
Castlevania OoE was a return to form for the handheld castlevania's. It's good to ramp up the difficulty for the bosses a bit. I always like a challenge. My main gripe was the recycled backdrops and poorly set out menu systems.

Same. Just finished the story missions last night on Xbox 360. The final missions were awesome!
Combining the various weapons, vehicles and the ability to smash through just about anything really creates a lot of possibilities for how you tackle a mission. Even more so when you get the jetpack!
Absolutley loved the mechs/walkers in the game, but very dissapointed that there wasn't more of them. Also liked the variety in the missions, with driving/rallying, puzzles (with explosives!), shooting, defending against attacks, rescuing hostages, etc, etc.
There is heaps to do in this game - I still have over 50 optional missions left undone, not to mention multiplayer! _________________

Just finished Halo ODST Firefights in single player (as in, got the achievements). They are a cake walk with a decent partner/group, but they can get a bit hectic and unfair when you're playing by your lonesome. I was glad to finish Last Stand, I had no lives for almost the entire game, very stressful

Finished Quantum of Solace's 007 difficulty single-player campaign last night. It'll be a cold day in hell when that game goes back in the 360 drive.
The AI is soooo cheap with it's "oh you're hiding behind cover, I'll just run right up and shoot you in the face while you struggle with the behind cover sporadic aiming and position switching controls" tactics.
*sigh*
