This last one would have been better if I moved the bin, but oh well:

I personally think that the bin gives more of a focus point.

It's a little known fact, but dogs actually have their own deployable off-gravity generator (DOGG). The thing is though, they really want to keep it under wraps and so use it very sparingly and, even then, only for a few seconds at a time.
Cameras, for some unknown reason, seem to involuntarily trigger the activation of their DOGG, which is probably why you've seen so many hoverdogs.
And now you know.
BTW, latest photos are up in the Eminence article.

^They're pretty nice shots for a camera phone, what are you shooting with? I particularly like the soft-focus effect on the second shot (even if it is probably just accidental over-exposure, it works in that case!)

True, though as the subject of the focus a bin isn't very exciting. I might try that shot again when I have friends over. A shot of them "caught in the act" of walking by would be interesting... _________________ My Photos

I'm impressed that the Kookaburra hung around that close when you were shooting with a camera phone!

Its a Sony Ericsson, I don't remember the name of the phone exactly - and that was definately an accidental effect!!

I'm currently using a P&S camera, it's good for what I'm using it for at the moment. Next year I'm taking photography as a class, so I'll get a SLR then.
Olympus FE-340:
8.0MP
5x Optical Zoom.
It takes photos like this:
Also:
Took that on my 2MP camera phone. No zoom; I was actually that close.
