I hope this is as good as the preview sounds, I didn't really like 2K9 all that much, you really do need to know what you're doing to play well in it. I'm hoping this year it's a bit easier to do some of the things I want to.

The only reason I'd ever get NBA Live is for the international rosters. Now that NBA2K10 has got the combine add-on, D-League and actual player development *and* integration and live updates from 82games.com that influences player tendencies in game? Wow. As a big time basketball fan, I've just wet my pants in anticipation.

^ Big-time basketball fans at the 2k forums already knew this stuff 1-2 months ago, hehe. I've already got the Draft Combine, I am pre-ordering 2k10 from Play-Asia (I always buy US versions of every NBA 2k game for various reasons).
The Combine is definitely a lot more realistic than 2k9 was and 2k10 is supposed to be better than the gameplay in the combine.

^ Haha, yeah, I read about it ages ago over at Operation Sports then forgot about it. Just reading this preview made me realise again how awesome this game is going to be.
For me personally, NBA Live died as a franchise in 2002 when it became all arcadey and well... stupid. It's going to take a lot to convert me back and at the rate they're going, I don't think it'll be for a while.
NBA Live 10 > NBA 2K10? Jigga please.
