Drop a date about a month in advance and I'll roster myself off work. I need a good excuse to be thrown out of places.

I suggest arcades, movies, drinks and then a wander of the city, followed by more arcading, drinking and wandering until dawn.

Also, i'm 16 (17 depending on date) so can't go drinking in a bar I could always illegally drink other places but that would be illegal...

P.S, i've always thought that picnics and BBQ's are awkward, because it's never what everyone has in common, like you shouldn't have a BBQ for something say, like a blanket enthusiasts club, you would all go to some sort of blanket place and bask in your own love of blankets. What we should do is some sort of gaming convention thing where we play a buttload of games, order pizza's or other food and go nuts with fun and other brilliant things. Like cheese!

Most likely the meet will have 2 session, the afternoon for all and then night time for those who are legal to drink. Last time we haven't had a night one, so I think it might be time for us who are 18+ to have fun at night. The only problem is we are so spread out in Sydney, hope its not troublesome for anyone to go out at night. I won't do it til very late, knowing trains operate til a certain time.

Depending on the date, I may make an appearance. I'm up for hitting a bar, although I can count the amount of times I've been to the city on one hand, so I would have no clue how I'd find my way home

Anyway, I've been itching to attend a meet-up for ages though so hopefully this time I can make it.

A BBQ definitely sounds like a good idea but as others have said it may take a bit more thinking to figure out a good spot for that. But consider myself officially up for it. Or down with that. Or whatever direction the kids say these days to indicate approval

If no one else is going to drink, I'll volunteer to shuttle people home in my awesome-mobile. However if there's a number of folks interested in a good drink then you guys will have to make other arrangements.

I suggest waiting until morning and hopping on a morning train. It'll be easier as you won't have to rush to get the last train, plus you get to spend the evening with an inebriated me.

What more could one want?

It'd be far easier to manage, and I'll make sure to bring a goat to clean up after us.
