I thought I was over Activision and their incessant milking of the '_____ Hero' games but I've got to admit, this game looks awesome. I think I want it. _________________

After absolutly loving the guitar hero series and beatmania, i can say this game will be a massive highlight for me this generation. _________________

I can see me buying this if the price is right.
I can also see my not being able to walk into this room with all the plastic peripherals that will be in here soon. _________________

I sometimes feel like I've burned out on rhythm games but both The Beatles Rock Band and this game have me pretty damn excited. _________________ Ramblings of a pop culture junkie - http://eclecticdynamite.wordpress.com/

I have decks which unfortunately i never use. If the price was indeed right and i could use it practically, have to get a table set up or something with the right height i would be all over this.Any ideas on the costs of this product at this stage on PS3? _________________

It'd be interesting to grab this just for a tinker, and for something a bit different. What they really need to do is release some DLC that incorporates both the turntables with the band so we could play some Incubus, 311, Linkin Park, etc the way it's mean to be played.

^ There is a DJ vs Guitar co-op mode included in the game. I remember seeing a demo of it on youtube. The DJ player had 'Sabotage' and the Guitar player had 'Monkey Wrench. It looked OK but I need to see more to work out if it's more than just a gimmick.
Here's the clip - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IvZv0pa6Pw&feature=related _________________

That's probably the best I can hope for at the moment. I should check out the song list, pretty sure if this thing has some DJ Shadow or RJD2 I'll be all over it.

Well DJ Shadow is definitely in this game. He's provided a few original mixes. It was his involvement, along with DJ Z-Trip that got me interested in the game in the first place. I'm a big fan of both those guys.
I can probably say this is one of my most anticipated upcoming games. This and the new Batman game will keep me happy for the rest of the year I think. Anything else is just gravy. _________________

Awesome sauce, this game could introduce me to some new DJ's and help build my collection of that style of music (something I've wanted to do but don't really know where to start).
This does of course mean that on top of the initial investment in the game I can add an extra 2-300 bucks in cd sales. Stupid Hero games making me spend more money.
Edit: Just tried searching for a tracklist, so far all it is is mash ups (granted only 5 tracks, of 10 songs, have been released), I don't want mashups, I want DJ tracks that I feel like I'm actually creating on the fly, mash-ups are for the 50 buck a night losers who play in seedy bars (granted some seedy bars are full of win in terms of DJ battles, E55 being a notable one). I want recreate Organ Donor damn it!

Pretty sure the whole thing is mashups, since the gameplay involves switching between the two tracks. So... yeah. _________________

Aww, that's not what I was expecting at all, I'll probably pass on this then.

DJ Shadow's original few albums were amazing mashes. unfortunately i really struggled to rate the outsider, has he released anything since? if so i hope he went back to instrumentals.
DJ Z-Trip live in Adelaide was one of the best DJ performances i will ever see. Spinning Nirvana into a predominantly hip-hop mix takes mad-skills. _________________

Damn. He survives a plane crash, along with Travis Barker, and then is found dead a year later. RIP.
Regardless, I still have not cashed in on any one of these games. DJ Hero will be my first!
