Jeez this has been a strange round so far.
Saints win with half the team out, including no Riewoldt. West coast beat dogs(^&T@ @**& *(## ((&(@ @#))#). Essendon Brisbane draw. Carlton beats geelong. The hell is going on? Collingwood beating adelaide was the only sane result so far. And I hate collingwood.

I have one; the mighty Saints.
Carlton, West Coast and Collingwood are a pack of dogs for making me lose a tip.

With arguably their 8 best players out? Not so sure. 115 tackles is an insane stat in any case, though. And it's exactly the kind of playing style that wins premierships. The only slight query is How can they improve their pressure? They surely can't. But, I'd say every other side in the 8 could improve their pressure. That probably won't be enough to stop them, but who knows?

Yesterday was probably as good as the pressure can get... but then you bring back in those 8 blokes.. that could have got real ugly yesterday.
Don't know if my post above implied it or not, but I was still very confident they'd win the game anyway, Ross Lyon has nailed this game plan.
Aside from the Dogs n cats losses I had my tipping radar on this week too. _________________

2.5, my tipping and SC radar was completely taken apart and then hacked together with tape as I got butchered with people being rested to limp to 1,440 points as opposed to last weeks 2,240.

I couldn't be bothered tipping in the palgn tip as I lost my login details and had no chance to win. Doesn't really matter, I only got 3.5 anyways.

I went Carlton and then thought "wait a minute, this isn't weighted!" and changed it.
Then of course West Coast had to win.
Same deal with Carlton with the Saints, I laughed when the odds were changed from like 1.40 to 3.65 in the weighted tipping.
Then the draw, Crows failed.
North & Sydney then got boned by rules #1 and 2;
Rule #1: Never tip Fremantle, you'll lose more than you win.
Rule #2: When considering tipping Fremantle revert to rule #1.
Port... sigh. After us and Brisbane did you the favour of holding off the compettion for 8th you pull that out of the hat?

Essendon leads St. Kilda by 20 at half time. It would almost be poetic if Essendon won, given the fact they were the last team to lose only once in the Home and Away season.
EDIT: Essendon by 2 points. Wow. What a crazy result. Sounds like it was a great match. Goodbye, perfect season for St, Kilda.
Six this week. Can't believe I tipped Fremantle. What the hell was I thinking?

Like I said elsewhere...
I've never been as torn as I was at the end of that game. I hate the Saints. My most hated of that hated team is colossal-sooky-la-la Riewoldt. Seeing him shank that should of been the greatest joy... but I absolutely didnt want Essendon to win either.
Ah well, thats pretty much it for Port now, save for some sort of miracle. _________________

No way, St Kilda will be knocked out by Collingwood before then so Collingwood can go ahead and continue with their tradition of losing Grand Finals. They actually hold the world record for the most losing grand finals
FYI: Richmond, Premiers, 2009.

Absolutely filthy, boys turned up and decided "ah we don't want to play footy today" and bombers blitzed us, should have been a downright spanking as they just wanted it more, then they run out of legs and get injuries and we think about trying to win it.
7 goals to goddamn nothing in the last quarter and you can't play a full game of footy and almost pull off an escape out of your asses? GTFO!
We were out of sorts, Bombers were up and going, we should have buried them but ended up almost pinching it after being severely outplayed. Filthy at that loss simply because the hunger wasn't there to grab the guy with the ball, bury him into the ground or get that ball from him.

Much as I HATE the Faints, (I just made that up then. Pretty crap, though.) this is probably the wake-up call they needed.
Also, COlliwobbles won't make the grand final. No way, no how. If there's a victorian team I hate as much as the Faints it's the Colliwobbles. Still looks like Saints Vs Geelong to me.
And i hate those damn south Australian teams more. Especially adelaide. But especially, especially the Cornes family.

Probably a good thing Riewoldt missed (although I lost my dreateam final by 3 points.. so that cost me) but the boys needed to know that that sort of effort will not win you games of football.
A plus was the effort of Kozi after taking that hit to come back and take some really good grabs, was the performance he needed after a pretty poor couple of games.
Weird that I'm happier we lost, I expect to see them come out and drill North this weekend. _________________

I can really see Essendon winning the premiership this year.
But thats because i'm overly optimistic xD
Beat Carlton, Western Bulldogs, Geelong, Saints.
IF IT BLEEDS, WE CAN KILL IT.

1-1 this season thanks, on aggregate we're still +points.
I'd be worried at the injuries Essendon has though, might be a tough ask to hold onto 8.

So wrapped for the boys on Sunday, it wasn't just the 4 points that came out of the game. The confidence that win will give the group going forward is massive, the belief that we can match it with the very best will be invaluable. The win came at a cost, but that confidence will be enough to see us prevail over in the west and book our spot in the finals. _________________
