BenQ G2220HD Monitor

Two botched Viewsonics in a row and I went for another brand.

1920x1080 res, 21.5” widescreen. $205 from MSY. I probably could have got it $10 - $20 cheaper but eh.

Could have gotten an M2200HD for $10 more which has a HDMI input (and webcam), unless they were out of stock? Or maybe you didn't want it and I'm just spouting useless information? Great purchase anyway, BenQ is beast. I'm still in love with my E2200HD.

Anyway last night I purchased:

2x1GB sticks of DDR PC3200 off Ebay for $88.97 delivered from the US. Upgrade from 512mb to 2.5GB. Pimping out the old Dell slightly seeing as it's in my room now and slower than ever.

Didn't ask, but honestly don't need. I'd never, ever use the webcam (owned one before) and the same goes for the HDMI input. I've got a 40" LCD in the lounge which I use for the Blu-Ray and console goodness. This is just for my PC.

But yeah, so far so good. My first Viewsonic was/is a charmer and I love it to this day, but the two widescreens I tried were total crap. Also dealt with a stroppy retailer who claimed the second one didn't have a problem, which was rubbish.

This BenQ is great. Just need to find the time to really sit down and tweak the colour settings.

Fairy nuff. When I first hooked it up to my 360 I was like icon_eek.gif, it really was ugly. Grey and washed out. Then I found the mode button on the side and changed it from standard to movie... beautiful. Don't know why the first one is considered "Standard". Haven't touched any other settings as of yet.

It's ~$28.90 at BigW.

ObsoletE, does the SE Bluray come with the 2 Watchmen PS3 games on the disc? I know the US version comes with them, so hopefully Aus isn't screwed out of that.

I think you'll find the version with the 2 watchmen ps3 games is not the special edition but another edition of watchmen that we are not getting in Australia.

Yeppers, it's in the latest DVD Sale catalogue. There's also a range of other Blu-rays for $15.82, $18.82 and 2 for $46.

Thanks TheAnswer, it's a shame we won't get that edition here, guess I'll just have to buy the 2nd game off the PSN

Got this this morning.

It was $457 at EB and was bundled with Gears 2, Halo 3, Gears 1 and Forza, which I traded in towards Fable 2.

I paid for this mostly with trades.

NFS: Most Wanted - $12.95 at Target
