Same drumkit except for minor differences? Looks like it's gonna be a stand-alone buy for me so far. Also, the songs here are much better than the other lot that were revealed.

New drum kit is very "rockband/GH" kit. Me like.

Thankfully the drumkit didn't go and blatantly add new features/drums to force us to upgrade to it. Still happy with my current one. _________________

I'm still on guitar number 1. Hell my guitar hero 3 guitar is still going strong. Maybe you just hammer yours to shit? _________________

Seven seems a bit extreme. I’d wager it was you, not the guitar. But hey, I could be wrong.
Les Paul was fine till it broke, which they both did.
The WT guitar is by far the best plastic guitar on the market. Everything but the slide bar is awesome. Got 1 from WT and 1 from GHM and the only issue I’ve ever had was with the red button not pressing when not hit right in the middle. Annoying, but only happens rarely. That’s the Metallica one, WT one is mint.
Let's not fuck around, the drum kit was complete shit for many people, leaving that part of the game virtually unplayable. I’ve used the software multiple times and nothing has changed, both cymbals are as good as dead. I’d go as far as to say that it’s one of the most poorly made gaming devices to ever hit the market, which includes Madcatz products. Countless times now I’ve been seconds away from smashing it into tiny little pieces. Hopes are high for the new kit, which looks pretty sweet, actually.

You’d buy an $80 game for a single song, huh?

I know I definitely caused my first WT guitar to break, although it shouldn't have, second one is wierd, it strums when I don't play it. I think it actually has to do with the music vibrating the strum bar or something because if I move to a different position in my room it can fix it. And yet, my drum kit works absolutely flawlessly (although the rubber on the orange cymbal is peeling becuase I've hit it so many times, being a lefty and all), so go figure.
This list doesn't grab me as well as the first list, but it does add another 5-10 tracks that I really like, brings my current GH5 love list to like 25. Not bad from only 40 odd tracks mentioned.

Yeah, I'd pick this up for $60 or so for the one song and a couple of other bearable songs. It was like GHWT. It had 3 Tool songs. SOLD...

my les paul is fine and i doubt its me breaking them coz i only play on medium/hard. after only a couple of hours they seem to either stop down clicking altogether, or double strum when i only press it once.

If they change the actual pad material to the similar stuff the XCell Pads have (Neversoft/RO actually ordered a set to check them out), I think I'd buy these.
Looks pretty damn good. _________________

It doesn't matter what setting you play it on, if you push too hard on a piece of plastic, it'll break. _________________

I've never owned GH or RB in any form, but I've played them several times, and hugely enjoyed, so I'm looking for advice on what to get.
The first thing I need to know is if you can download tracks on the Wii version of GH or RB. And also, if you need a separate Wii controller for each peripheral... I'm definitely more interested in getting a full band pack sorta thing, cus I love the drums. So, which is better World Tour, Rock Band or Rock Band 2?
Sorry, I'm sure there was a thread about this somewhere, but it ended up hugely long with massive pages of debate, and I'm too lazy to go dig it up again... Thanks.
Ack, fingers...... so...... very....... cold.......... typing.......... very........ slowly _________________

I think I will give this one a miss. I'm quite happy to keep playing Guitar Hero Metallica until another Guitar Hero game focuses on another band I like.
