Yes, he is the one who opposes the Wars, and to be quite honest, I believe hes quite right to be against them. But since I can't adress this subject without a full and frank political debate, I won't. _________________

Please don't be one of those protesters cause they are idiots.
I don't know why people don't want anything to change there? You can create a topic and tell me your views and why your against the war. _________________

I wanna see Troy, and that's about it at the moment. Kill Bill 2 was excellent just like the first and The Punisher looks like a letdown. I've been reading the comics by Garth Ennis(sp?) for quite some time and the trailer for the movie doesn't look anywhere near as good as it should. He needs to be beefier and without one-liners, or at least bugger all of them. They changed the story aswell. He was supposed to be having a picnic or some shit in a park when his family got caught in crossfire from a nearby mob shootout, it was an accident, there was no special bad guys that sent for him and his family to be killed over something he didn't do or whatever. I dunno, might be all right... But he definately looks to soft to be The Punisher. _________________ My Game Collection

Troy sucked so hard...
actually thats a bit harsh, the fight scenes were pretty good, it's just a pity that everything else (dialogue, acting, even sex scenes) ruined it...
Cerebral: Yeah he's pretty harsh on the Bush Administration, but he was pretty harsh on the Clinton Admin too, probably not as much so since that one was actually elected... he was especially critical of the manner in which clinton left office, he introduced and passed a heap of trophy good but untenable legislations mostly regarding the environment just so as soon as bush entered government they'd be over-turned... making bush the baddy... mind you i think Bush has made enough stupid legislations on his own that these others don't really matter any more... he's also been very critical of other administrations as far back as Nixon on various issues
anyway, as for the distribution of Farenheit 911, America is now the only country world-wide to not have a distributer... this includes so-called Axis of Evil countries... _________________

It's that time of the year again the Winter movies (or for some summer movies).
I just got back from seeing Harry Potter:POA and imho it lacked in atmosphere when compared to the first two. The story however is the best so far (in terms of movies that is)
Can't wait till Spiderman 2 and Shrek 2 the previews fo both those movies were both pretty good. _________________

as in new film or any film?
at the moment i am halfway through the extended edition of The Bourne Identity... not much extended, there's a new intro and apparently a new outro in order to make the film more politically correct post 9/11... don't seem to add much, or detract from the film either so meh... i really liked the Bourne films, if you haven't seen them i recommend them highly...
otherwise, i borrowed some dvds off of a mate, watched 8 mile and The Cable Guy last night... thought 8 Mile was ok... i don't like hip-hop and i don't like mnm, but the film was passable... glad i didn't pay to see it though... and generally i can't stand Jim Carrey, i don't think he's all that funny... but i really enjoyed The Cable Guy... maybe it was spotting all the people who weren't particularly famous at the time the film was made in the background (Jack Black, Kyle Gass, Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson spring to mind) easily Jim's best film imo
and i can't even remember the last film i saw at the cinema... but i know i really want to see the directors cut of Donnie Darko this week... tightarse tuesday looks good if you haven't seen DD, do so.. it'll rock your world and fuck your mind... _________________

Just got Clerks X from the US. Watched the theatrical version, pretty kick ass. Pretty good transfer, can't tell you about the sound as my laptop has crap speakers (barely audible over the noise of my fan - not very loud at all). Need to watch the extended edition. Also it seems to be region free (that or my laptop is set to region 1 at the moment).
Watched Shogun Assassin semi-recently, pretty cool film, mainly watched it so I could see what a few other works were referencing.
Also I watched Ghost in the Shell (hadn't seen like the last 20 minutes), cool movie, wasn't so keen on the ending as it was a bit rediculous.
