5 in a row for the crows and should be 6 against Richmond. _________________

What the fuck happened in the Richmond/St Kilda game? The saints not scoring a goal in the first quarter? Richmond not scoring at all in the second and third quarters? Bizarre shit.

Richmond had the flood on and St Kilda had no answer, and the Tigs got it rolling out of D50 pretty easily. If J Riewoldt kicked straight they could have been 4+ goals up.
After that Saints got the ball moving faster and put the trap on, Richmond rarely got the ball out of half back. Straighter kicking form St Kilda would have seen them go down by over 100 I reckon.
Was odd to see Richmond go from a top defensive effort to being absolute garbage all over the ground. Then I remembered we've seen them do it all year.
Now the big one is nearly here, with two great lead up games on Friday and Saturday night, too. _________________

Friday is going to be a cracker I feel. I'm a lifelong Collingwood supporter and desperately want revenge for the embarresment that was the last 5 minutes of the ANZAC day game.

What a round of footy this weekend. With the pies and the Dons and the top two unbeaten teams going up against eachother. Also for me personally carlton and freo at subi which, hopefully, will be a competitive match that freo win

For sure, even if big pav does nothing in a match, he still does something. Hes important for morale with freo, but i still think we can take it to the blues. Im heading to the match on Sunday, any heckle requests for Fev?

God we need Watson and Mcveigh back badly, it wasn't an excuse for tonight but Essendon will be so much better for it if them two are in the team playing well. Roll on St Kilda and Geelong _________________

I thought the friday night game would be alot better than it was. Essendon felt so flat and the pies, after the second quater, basically just cruised home with no real show. As for cats V saints, i think the cats might get up, its basically a battle of the mid-fields with the real game breakers the forwards and whether they can convert. I think mooney and johnno will be consistant and if chapman has a blinder it will show the cats class, but ive seen more of the cats then i have of the saints.

Best. Game. Ever.
Nah probably not but it has got to be right up there, it's just a shame it wasn't the GF because I doubt if the two meet there that it will live up to expectation this game has set. _________________

Nah, the best h&a game ever was when Essendon came back from like 70 points down in the 2nd to beat North about 10 years ago. (EDIT: A quick google reveals it was round 16 2001)
And the mighty Bulldogs were always gonna smack Hawthorn.
Wish i didn't have to work through the saints/cats game, sounds like it was epic.

Carlton had to be spoonfed goals in the third quarter, but genuinely dominated the final quarter and deserved the win. The margin would have been much larger if the Blues could kick straight and the new backline didn't give away four 50-metre penalties in the first quarter. _________________

If the Saints/Cats game was an entree, I cant wait to see what's served up for the main meal (a final, probably grand final but dont write the Bullies off yet).

ahh another week another loss. I was at the freo match today and despite having the most worst experience with the blues supporters at subi, it was once again a loss that highlighted freo's complete inability to play 4 quater footy. Though it was nice to dominate the first half, but as always i was walking away from Subi cursing (PS i didnt see the Saints v Cats match and have yet to hear any real details as of yet but Saints have proven me wrong so good on 'em)

Saints and Geelong was a great game and showed the strengths and weaknesses of both teams.
While the crows much to my pleasure beat richmond. 6 in a row and signs of 1997 again. _________________

Before the game I said to my mate Gardiner is the best ruckman on the field today to which he scoffed. Boy was I laughing when he kicked the winner.
Looking at our remaining games only one of them could we lose and I'd be 'okay' with it, against the Dogs. _________________

^Will be good to see Gardiner vs Cox this weekend. Although thats about the only contest that will be even, West Coast will probably get smashed in most areas of the game. Saints skills are too good.
Though it might be closer than you would think given its at Subi and Saints would be pretty buggered after the Cats game. Anything under another 97 point thrashing will be a bonus for me _________________ XBL/PSN/Steam: BenC82

Yeah without a doubt. WC didnt play to badly against Geelong at subi so they could surprise everyone. WA teams are having a really bad run this season, i miss 2006 Though you cant deny the future potential in the rookies for freo and WC.
EDIT : Just heard on the radio that Big bad Barry hall has quit the swans, effective immedietly. Interesting stuff.

I'm expecting a 4-6 goal win. Can't see WCE being able to beat St Kilda, but can't see Saints having a thumping in them this week. They really couldn't ease up until the last 20 seconds on Sunday.
Cox vs Gardi will be good, I actually hope Cox gets up as I need him back in my dreamteam. _________________
