There is a lite version, so try it yourself . It seems the same as the flash version though.

Picked up Zen Bound today after playing the trial on a13x's recommendation. It's a fantastic game. Great graphics, fun gameplay, and it suits the iPhone perfectly.
Also picked up Crystal Defenders: Vanguard, the follow-up to Square Enix's original iPhone Crystal Defenders title. The gameplay mechanics are completely different, but still a lot of fun and well worth the purchase price. If you're into tower defence style games, you should definitely look into both. _________________

Im digging vanguard a lot more than the other one. But both are still more than worth the asking price. Awesome tools to aid procrastination <3 _________________

Prey has been submitted and is only going to cost $2.99 US. It has good graphics but I don't know about the controls, looks hard to shoot.

Bloody hell that's cheap for Peggle. I was happy to pay $6 but I wish I'd waited now. It only came out a couple of weeks ago too! _________________

Bought World Cup Ping Pong for $1.19. It's actually quite a fun game. Much better than any of the tennis games out there.

Real Racing is fantastic. Pricey at $12.99 but well worth it if you enjoy racing games. Not perfect by any means but impressive when compared to other iPhone racing games. Great work Firemint! This will sell like hotcakes if the price drops a bit. _________________

My current favorite on the iTouch:
Reign of Swords - I think this is on sale now as the sequel is coming out soon. $1.20?
It is a medieval strategy game in the style of advance wars but instead of building units during the battle you purchase them at the start of the battle and have to use them to get the job done. Unit selection is very important as you are only given a certain number of points for each battle and the more powerful the unit you select the higher its cost. After each successful battle you are awarded with additional units and unit upgrades. Eventually you can build up a powerful army of units that you can draw upon. But there is always a point limit for each battle to keep things challenging.
If its still on sale it is a must buy otherwise I would recommend it to anyone who likes turn based strategy games. _________________ Never put a gamer in charge of the office IT.

Wolfenstein is an absolute blast. The controls are brilliant too - it's definitely my favourite game on the iPhone so far.

^redownload? just out of curiosity, did you backup the files before reformatting and attempt to reuse it?
Anyway, would love to say thanks to everyone's apps contribution in this thread. Had just recently got an ipod Touch and was reading this thread to find out what games to get. Because of it, I picked up Peggle and Flight Control cheaply, know about Crystal Defenders and had tried out the lite version, got the Nodephone app and got the Tap Tap Revenge game but haven't played it yet.
I managed to pick up Let's Golf for $1.19.
Haven't played anything other than Flight Control because it is too damn addictive to put it down. _________________ "Work hard now, play even harder later"

It was so cool when Firemint released the extra maps for Flight Control. I wasn't expecting it at all and suddenly after a routine update there they were. Nice surprise. _________________

With 3.0 bringing parental control, Apple has started approving more mature apps, including one with nudity, and even a vibrator app >.<

Finally have I stop playing Flight Control and tried other games. I am currently enjoying this one a lot, not having a PSP or PS3 and loved the Everybody's Golf series.
Let's Golf
I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoy playing the Everybody's Golf series. The classic controls for this game is similar to how it would be like in the Everybody's Golf. Even checking the distance using the map and the Putting style is similar (as in for anyone who plays everybody's golf will know there is like a grid when putting to show the ground's slopes). I picked it up for $1.19 on sale but now its $2.49.
[iTunes Store Link - Let's Golf]
Also, an honourable mention to Google for doing something so I could have a better experience with the ipod Touch. I have my calendar sync with Google Calendar and it supports multiple calendars!!!. It also does a contact sync.
[Information to set it up]
Google Apps also used when I occasionally need to access google services like Google Docs and Picasa Web Album for that sudden urge to look at photos. For iphone users, it has voice search now and apparently Aussie accent works.
[iTunes Store Link - Google Apps]
Btw - The Mass Effect game is out now!!! [iTunes Store Link - Mass Effect Galaxy (International)]. Has anyone tried it? If so, is it any good? _________________ "Work hard now, play even harder later"

Never got around to playing this game on pc or consoles.
Space Ace
Excellent game, an arcade version in the palm of your hand. If you can imagine one huge quicktime event game. Great animation and visuals.
Haven't tried this one yet
The Dark Knight: Batmobile Game
Review of the game here
Was going to download the mass effect game but read to many bad reviews _________________

Everyone should get Music IQ. It's free for a limited time, and basically you have to guess which song is playing (songs from your iPod), out of 5 choices.
