Just like those great polystyrene containers McDonalds used to come in!
See, this is why we need pyramids. We've got lots of desert. Imagine all the cool crap we could save over the years to have buried with us?! Visually appealing and a practical time capsule.

M&M's minis in yogo are nice (they even have that combination in those mic pack things).
Also, ALL Cadbury chocolate bars (medium and king size) were reduced by ~5-10g a couple of months ago. It was why you could briefly get the medium size ones for 79 cents on clearance.
Doritos are now down to 200g from 230g as well. _________________ My Photos

M&M's Mcflurry are so damn good. Best Ice Cream desert ever!!!!
That sandwich sounds good too. I don't think the peanut butter M&M's are available here.
Only normal, peanut, crispy, a mixtures bag, green ones and the new orange ones. _________________

An Oreo Mcflurry with an extra shot of M&M's was always my favourite. I don't think they do Oreo anymore though do they? _________________ My Photos

I think they do, but can you have both mixed together, that would be awesomeness. _________________

^yeah you can mix both, though it costs an extra 50 or so cents.
You can ask for nothing but a shot of M&Ms in a cup if you were so inclined. _________________ My Photos

actually it's usually cheaper to grab a 1.25 or 2L from woolies than a 600ml out of the cold fridge in the SAME store...

I have no idea why my store does this, I don't see any logic in it either.
And about the down-sizing, yes I do find it a bit annoying. But I normally dislike it moreso when things rise in price, like the McDonalds cheeseburgers. I mean I know its only approximately 10c but come on, the burger isn't much to boast about =[

Their reasoning is that the 600ml bottles are usually kept in a fridge, so they require more energy to store. They're also taking advantage of how much more convenient they are to carry when on the move.
I have friends who used to buy 1.25L bottles when we went to the movies, because they were cheaper. At the end they'd always chuck them out half-full. It was such a waste. If I buy a drink at the movies (not as likely nowadays, and if it is it's usually water), it'll be a 600ml one, because I like it cold =P _________________ My Photos

I was down at Big W today (they always seem to have the lowest price) and stopped by the M&M's section to see if there was any progress with the packaging compared to last time. Interestingly, they had both the 380g and the 450g packs hanging next to each other, with the price labels reading exactly the same ($5.22) for both. The only difference between the labels was the weight of the product. I guess they're just trying to clear out the old stock? I just find it amusing that they're not even trying to hide the fact that they're selling the smaller packs for the same price. _________________

That's what she said.
And, yeah, I've seen a ton of companies doing that. Cadbury made their medium sized bars smaller, yet made the price go up. Not sure what the deal is there, but I think this all started a few years ago when they made Cadbury Creme Eggs smaller. Where will the madness end?! _________________ How can you possibly be overwhelmed and underwhelmed, but not just whelmed?

I love M & M's...
They taste so good.
I know you might prefer to eat the blue ones over the red ones.
But they all taste the same. =)

Pizza used to be $5, 2x bigger and PAN
Its happening everywhere and australia is too blame , 5 years ago the world was magic , no australia is getting fat crap , no health eating crap , no global warming bullcrap, crappity crap crap
in america you can get a pizza the same size as pizza hut for 99c ( tastes good too ) |
Little Caesar's in the USA does $5 the best in my opinion. Their 1-topping hot-n-ready large pizzas beat any of the $5 pizza competitors and I think they taste way better too. _________________

It's not really slow posting, more that there only a few threads people post in, and other threads like this die after a week or so. Mostly.
