Because a poorly implemented morality system and over the top promises are just what the next Banjo game needs...

I like the new rare thanks. Sure PD0 sucked, but Kameo, Viva Pinata and Nuts and Bolts have all been great. _________________

So identity == publicity/marketing campaigns? _________________

In the end, the games will do the "talking".
Over-hyping things is what Peter Molyneux is great at, and no developer needs that kind of pressure.

LOL!
actully i think that developers like free radical, rare, eidos built their names through pure quality, and THATS why i get excited about their games.
...now who hasnt tarnished that yet?

It probably makes me weird, but I liked PD0 and didn't care at all for the other three.

I think Rare were great for what they could do with the N64 but they are one of those devs who have struggled to keep up with technology and live up to their own name.
Not as bad as something like the awesome 2D Sonic's compared to the sucky 3D one's, but along those lines.
PD0 was a disgrace, Banjo (360) would have been good 3 years ago, Kameo was a mess and Viva Pinata could have been so much better. _________________ My YouTube game videos!

Banjo was great when it was released, and for a budget title it's fucking fantastic. Viva Pinata did what it aimed to do really well. I don't understand the hate for Kameo? What was wrong with it? It was a great fun little platformer with some truley epic confrontations. _________________

Banjo was probably the best looking 360 title at the time of it's release. It was a good game as well, it just didn't FEEL like the old ones _________________ http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197997175012

It wasn't meant to.
Stop judging it by what it wasn't and judge the game for what it is. _________________

Like I said, it WAS a good game. I was just lamenting that it didn't have the old feel which is something I would have personally enjoyed. _________________ http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197997175012

Keep the Molyneux the hell away from the Rare.. That guy is on my list of 4 designers who should shut the hell up and acknowledge that it was the team who brought the projects together despite their efforts to derail it..
1.. The 'Neux
2.. Cliffy 'I would put a shotgun in my mouth and blow of my head' B.. (still waiting btw)
3.. Bioshock dude (not even worth remembering his name but he's slowly disappeared.. yay!)
4.. <Space Available>

Dungeon Keeper 2 and Jazz Jackrabit are two of my faviourte PC games of all time made by your top two dudes. I'm sure Dues Ex would be upt there if I'd played it.
These guys got famous for a reason, cause they made some incredibly awesome games. And deserve a little respect for that at least. _________________
