Are you thinking wii nights macka? brawl and kart will probably be boring by then. maybe this and that capcom vs (cant remember the name) game will replace them. _________________

Looks like fun. My partner and I are going to fight over who gets to be Luigi. I can see it now. _________________

I thought it looked good when I saw it at E3, just watched a trailer on games on net, and all I can say is I want! Even just 2 players looks like so much fun, and it would be fun single player I am guessing cause most Mario games are. I want this game so much now.

shame its not online. miyamoto mentioned that in round table. he mentioned something about too much power being used by the actual game for it to run online, which makes me call bs. because, im sorry, but if smash bros can run online (sometimes games work out..) and the grinder is going to be an fps, with 4 player co-op with 60+ ai's on screen, a 2d engine port of a ds game can do it.
dont get me wrong though, this looks like sex to me, and i will spend hours playing it with friends because i LOVE new super mario bros, and the co op will be nuts. but i would have liked to be able to play with say, waka and macka or some other palgn peeps too. _________________

If you were responding to my question, I was referring to a 'World' game instead of a 'Bros.' game. You know, like Super Mario World (and to some extent SMB3) where there's a persistent map to explore and unlock everything. _________________

WOW. Just Wow.
This game'll be so fun, i'm glad they made powerups appear for all players, cause that'd be awkward if it didn't.... we'd all fight over it. But i love how it's also like a comp with the points, so you don't HAVE to bring someone back to life... it's optional _________________

im assuming like new mario bros did on ds, this will have a persistent world map to traverse and unlock hidden goodies. _________________

Any mention of controller options? Will we be able to use cube/classic controllers? Or am I going to have to buy another wii-mote+nunchuck to get three player? _________________

At E3 they were only using Wiimotes to play, held sideways.

Oh, I forgot about that! Well something for me to look forward to then! =)

They mentioned some waggle controls so Gamecube controllers might be out. Four Wiimotes should be enough to get four player co-op though, no nunchuk required. _________________

This has officially become my most anticipated Wii game. Multiplayer should be an absolute hoot.
The only other Wii games I'm kinda psyched for a Red Steel 2 and Silent Hill, however both of these look as though they may end up as average games there were hyped too much.
This on the other hand is too simplistic to be anything other than pure awesome. _________________

I predict great things for this, but am saddened that we are given 2 nameless Toads (and one of them isn't even a red toad! ala Standard Nintendo Toad) as yellow and blue, being 3rd & 4th, hopefully you can choose from other players (like Peach maybe), but it just seems too tacked on, a bit of a cop-out
Surely there could have been other alternatives _________________

I was thinking that, and I know other people have thought that, too. It just looks a tiny bit bland. You have the two "stars" and then the two nameless characters. If I was playing co-op, no matter how petty it sounds, I'd want to be a little bit unique.
Maybe they want to keep that a surprise or something, I'm not sure. But I do hope that there's at least a little bit of variety. Maybe they haven't decided who will be in the final roster yet. _________________

^ I assumed a traditional 'rescue Princess Peach' storyline. Thus no Peach, no Wario and no Waluigi. _________________

Let's not go overboard here.
I understand that Peach would probably be kidnapped as usual, but for once I wish that they sort of mixed it up a bit. But oh well. It's nice to dream. _________________
