 The balls on Rockstar. I personally have no problem with the name but I can't see this going down too well with certain groups. The fallout is going to be hilarious.
The Lost and the Damned reinvigorated my love for the series and showed me what DLC was really capable of. I can see Episode 2 doing the exact same thing. I'm excited.

Having read a short snippet of the previews, I suppose it IS just based on someone's name - however the connotations are in no way subtle!
Should be a blast, TLATD was super! Can't wait for Ep2.

i wonder if this xpac will have another camera filter, like TLAD did to make everything gritty.
like a neon-type filter, makes everything bright and radiant.

TLAD had a bunch of new metal and rock tunes on the radio so will we get a nice selection of dance/techno/disco stuff with this new update? Going with the whole night club theme.

Might as well bump this thread considering there has been a little bit of news on it lately.
Release Date: 29th October
The trailer for Episodes from Liberty City will be released next Tuesday. Here's a few stills and an animated gif from the trailer... looks like Luiz jumping from a Helecopter with a parachute.
Thanks to gta4.net for them.
And incase any of you guys are wondering if the parachute will be playable at any time throughout the game... here is a picture from the Gamecrazy Convention in Las Vegas where TBOGT was playable.
Although looking at that, it MAY just be for the particular mission those guys were playing. Hopefully that's not the case though.

A parachute? A PARACHUTE!? YEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
I nearly died of excitement when I first saw the parachute back in one of the trailers for San Andreas. I loved it in that game, even though it was so badly glitched it only opened half the time. I was so disappointed to see that it had gone the way of all the other non-realistic-yet-endlessly-fun things in GTA IV. If they're bringing it back in Gay Tony... can I buy two copies?

Why not, I say. The trailer looks awesome.
I wonder what kind of physics the parachute may have. Will the parachute clip trees and powerlines or will Rockstar stick to the realism and have you get caught up and tangled thus leaving you hanging from something?
Either way, colour me excited.

That is an interesting thought. The recent trailers for Just Cause 2, a game that is almost 100% parachuting, show that their parachute clips through objects with gay abandon, but you never know with Rockstar. I'd love it if you could be electrocuted from getting stuck in powerlines

Sorry to say this, but i am not even one iota excited for this. GTA 4 was such a disappointment (and grossly over rated) that not even the promise of a parachute has me going back. Glad i sold my copy.

I am kind of sad to say it but this DLC is one of the reasons I finally gave in and bought a 360. I really cannot wait to do that train mission.
