Hey pimp's and ho's,

It's my birthday this coming saturday and i'm getting an Ipod Touch (which may draw a few negs) for it....

To the people out there with an Ipod touch or an Iphone what is the best cover for them in your opinion. Im not letting this ipod get as marked up as my ipod now...

Suggestions/Pics please....

Here is my cover. It basically provides a bit more grip and protects the metal on the back (the screen is hard to scratch, but the metal will scratch a lot without a cover). I think this cover costs around $15 and also comes in silver instead of red. (Yes my Touch is covered in fingerprintes, but they wipe off very easily and aren't noticeable when it is turned on, I can't even see them except in the photo).

But the screen probably won't scratch, look on youtube, they are very hard to scratch.

On my iPhone I use an anti-glare film protector. It provides better traction and also, obviously, no glare icon_smile.gif. So I suggest you get one of those.

And for the case I use a BESTSKINEVER. You can also use a invisibleshield.. they are exactly the same really, but IS is better known and includes an application solution (which is just soap and water).
The BSE is basically just a thin plastic like material that covers your ipod, you don't even notice it unless you look up close icon_smile.gif. So it doesn't bulk up your ipod (will still fit on the dock) and looks neat and tidy. Only disadvantage is it won't protect very well from falls..

but for scratches etc, it can't be beat!

I use the invisible sheild on my Iphone.. it works great, keeps it scratch free..

BUT

after having it on for 10 months, the edges of the sheld etc have lost their stick from dust etc... so I have had to cut those bits off, so slowly the shield is getting smaller and smaller, but atm it still works great@!

That's happened to mine too. I think if you email them they will actually send you out a replacement free of charge, which is great customer service. But I bought it off someone else so unfortunately I wouldn't be able to get another icon_sad.gif.

This is the one I use for my iPod touch. The iPod just slides in and to get it out, you pull up on the tab and it comes out about an inch for you to grab. It's nice and soft on the inside too. I don't really like the ones that stay on the iPod because when I'm using it, I like the feel of it as is.

I use one of these:

https://www.gelaskins.com/skins.php?Skin=86&Category=30

Takes away the unnecessary bulk, and you get a screen protector too.

I use one of these:

It's called a pocket. It's real good for holding stuff and other stuff like that. Or at least I would use this newfangled technology if I had an iPhone...

Useful edit: I'm all up for using a screen protector if I had an iPhone, but I couldn't see myself using a prophylactic. It'd make retrieving it from my pants a friction-filled misadventure, and I want to save those for another time[/masturbation joke]
