Man i really wish there was some sorta IRC crew secret society, which had fun sexy initation ceremonies, wore big red hats and little shiny shoes and ran around in a backwards direction shouting ramalamadingdong while eating confetti and puppeteering the british crown
unfortunately they end up spending half the nights crapping on abount and playing Quake Live, and the other half making up Trivia like an excited retirement home.. viva la irc!
and sometimes rarely just talk personal stuff /especially in private
To be fair i don't talk to everyone, but thats the point theres too many freakin people to be one gang. yes, there are group sentiments on palgn, and even ganging up at times but irc is just a fun name to drop on it, and usually pretty far from whatever the problem is.
Oh yeah, almost forgot.
seeing as i'm in this thread, might as well say

He didn't. there was only one train. He cowarded out of being part of the big march on Rome by the Fascists, scared it'd go bad and he'd get caught. Then it turned out to be a success was offered leadership of Italy (by the pope or abdicating royalty?), and had to rush his ass over there to take it up and stop looking like an ass, making that single train run on time (or earlier).
thats what i'd heard and seems more truthful anyway. history tends to get written in multiple ways.

Tim Minchin story:
Few weeks ago a friend and I were pretty drunk and in the city walking towards some club. Tim was crossing the road and ended up right beside us. Without missing a beat I'm like "Hey Tim, how are ya?" and kept walking. He walked with us for a block or so, shooting the proverbial shit, as they say. I asked him why he wasn't at the Comedy Festival nightly after-party thing at Hi Fi Bar, he said he didn't wanna drink and stuff his voice up. Eventually my friend and I had to go off in a different direction, but Tim wouldn't stop talking, so we just stopped walking, waited for him to finish and excused ourselves. Nice guy.
