Obs: I always forget the LoK games because I always think of them as PC, as all my LoK games I have on the PC.
And yes the SR2 boss battle was epic awesome. Makes me want to play it again.

yeah, i always forget about the LoK games too. the LoK games have the deepest backstory of any games i've ever played. so deep. if there's ever a game series that deserves to be made into a movie that would be it.
i think the writer now works on the unchartered games.

Yeah... a bit restrictive as you can see...
If I was to base it on series / specific games then the list would be something along the lines of (again in no particular order):
- SMT: Persona (both 3 & 4)
- Kingdom Hearts I and II
- FF-X
- Prince of Persia SoT series
- Star Wars Battlefront II

Mine would have to be -
Shadow of the Colossus - Just playing through this again and it holds up really well. Amazingly designed game
Rez - If you haven't played this you need to, simple as that
Ico - Just as good as SotC but a little slower paced.
Space Channel 5 Part 2 - Simply the funnest game I've ever played. Makes me smile each time I play it. (something you can't say about many games)
Silent Hill 2 - Atmospheric as @#$!. Some of the dialogue is made of butt, but the creepiness more than makes up for it.
Like many others have said, there are tons more and I'm sure that if I replied to the question in a month the list would be different but just as good.
