Finally got enough spare time to assemble a computer from spare parts I have, only to have to ass around with a bucket of mixed screws all afternoon in an attempt to put the mobo in.

Was just one of those days to be a Broncos supporter huh?
I also had a similar experience. Going to the game straight from Uni I brought my Uni backpack complete with all my Uni gear including DVDs for my Film and Screen course. Never the less I leave my bag under my seat belieiving that it wouldn't come into harms way...
How wrong I was...
By full-time my entire bag was covered in beer due to a bunch of ignorant Brits who came for anything but the football. It isn't a biggy by any means but one of those dilemna's that compounds to ruin the experience.
Can't believe how poorly the Broncos played though! 3 of their tries came off of 3 of our mistakes! Just one of those games that could've gone either way hey. _________________

The receptionist at my local Bowls Club.
Scene: about a month ago I go in to renew my membership and I confront this grey headed man.
Me - Hi, I would like to renew my membership please.
Receptionist - Are you a member?
Me - ... Yeah. I would like to renew my membership because it expired.
Rec - Okay. You don't have to sign in if you are a member.
Me - ... (okay) No, I want to become a member.
Rec - Ohh. (get outs paperwork, I fill in necessary blanks etc) Here's the reciept. Keep it with you when you are in the club until you get your photo card.
Me - Thanks okay... can we do the photo now?
Rec - (grabs my reciept, writes down a date and gives it back) You have to come in after this day after we process your payment.
Me - Thanks. (Weird, fine whatever I just came in because I was bored, I rarely come to the club. *leaves*)
Yesterday, I came back in to meet some friends and once again confront the same receptionist.
Me - Hi, I would like to get my membership card.
Rec - Name?
Me - ***** ******
Rec - (looks in computer) Your last name?
Me - ******
Rec - (looks) Yep you're there, you can go in.
Me - No, I want to get my membership card/photo card.
Rec - Did Judith tell you to come in?
Me - No, haha you did.
Rec - *blink blink*
Me - ... yeah, so I would like to do it now.
Rec - *picks up phone* Gregg could you get the studio key from the tennis court... thanks.
Me *smile*
Rec - *blink blink*
Me - *blink blink*
Silence. Okay so I'd thought I'd just wait on the lounge while gregg comes with the keys, I didn't see my friends. 20 minutes later, I got up and went through the club looking for my friends. They weren't there so I left the club and went home, didn't bother with the receptionist. I get a call from my friend, "where are ya?". So I go back into the club, and walk by the receiptionist on the phone.
Rec - Hold on a minute *puts down phone*
I go in closer expecting a response from him.
Rec - *blink blink*
Me - *walks straight through*
OMFG. I applied for this job a few years before and this is the guy they chose?! _________________

Don't know if I should say this as it could start the thing I am about to say ticks me off.If it does then I won't participate in it.
Anyway, something that really ticks me off? Going to post in this thread only to find it locked because people have been arguing.
Another thing that REALLY ticks me off.Girls who don't know, or maybe they just don't care, who their real friends are.
Ok so I have this female friend who means a LOT to me.Well my male friend (who introduced her to me) stopped being in contact with her for probably a year or more. What's more, he would talk **** about her.Well they started talking to each other over facebook yet she ignores me 99.9% of the time.Well that pissed me off MAJORLY.I told her that it is definitely a possibility he would just end up hurting her.I think that her feelings for him may have rekindled and I just wanted to warn her.Well she still decided to talk to him but ignore me.
I have ALWAYS been there for her but that doesn't seem to matter at all.

Dang it, SBS pulled the last episode of Prototype This.
Okay, Mythbusters getting drunk again... pretty cool.
But I wanted to see a six legged all terrain vehicle, awwww...
Ticks... me... off...
UPDATE: SBS is forgiven, that was a pretty good episode of Mythbusters.

You should of said that you're the new manager and that he is fired.
See, you traveled back in time to participate in a crooked 50's game show where you ratted on everyone and got off Scott free.
Then you returned through time to claim your prize and fire him.
And if any of that story doesn't work, you just walk away. _________________

Having n00bies beg me for mercy rounds in Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion after I demolish them the first two rounds. Also, this is AFTER they refuse to listen to my advice on how to play the game properly, which is why it sort-of ticks me off. Had they listened to me, sure why not, but by being idiots and not listening, I'll let them learn the hard way. _________________

Come this Wednesday I'm 90% sure I'll be sacked.
I have worked in the same place for 9.5 years. 3 years ago new middle management was introduced with which I have had philosophical and personality clashes with over this time.
Because they're senior to me they have systematically attempted to make it impossible to do my work and force me to quit.
Also they are trying to get rid of me before they have to pay my long service leave.
I'm ticked off that they will win.
It will however be a relief to leave a toxic enviornment and set out on a new journey. I am excited and nervous this has been my only job since leaving school.
However I went back to uni last year to upgrade my skill and come the end of this year I will be qualified and able to work anywhere.
Edit: Thanks very much for the support. It means a lot. _________________

To clarify, I was handing out the toothpaste (and the uniform was some bastard mix of a dentist, a nightgown and Link's hood). As expected, I never realised how tedious and thankless the job is until you stand around the same spot for hour spouting the same 3 lines every 10 seconds to people, half of whom either avoid you or pretend you're invisible.
Oh well. Get money get paid. _________________

That's not always the case.
I can still remember a group of girls standing outside of Flinders a few months back handing out condoms. They were also dressed as if they'd just flown in from the Moulin Rouge. I'll bet they got plenty of thanks. After all, nothing bolsters your manly self-confidence more than a pretty girl in cabaret attire handing you a condom then winking at you.
Anyway, something that really ticks me off.
Waiting.
I hate it _________________

Yeah, they can't even accept the fact they lost to a better player. That just goes to show that battle points are meaningless because a lot of people don't even legitimately earn those high scores. I also hate 1 round, 30 second players. _________________
