What really ticks you off?

Samsung, again.

I called them to ask why they never showed up with a replacement screen. You see, they had told me they had the replacement and were to come over two - three weeks ago. They never showed.

Turns out much of my records have been lost on their system, and there's no record of them ever ordering a part, even though they had said it was in.

So today they turn up to take the TV away to their repair house. They inform me this process will take at least a week, and they might need to order in the part again. Joy.

Irony at it's best, I then get an email today from Samsung, delightfully informing me that my promotional BluRay player has been mailed.

EDIT: Scratch that. What's pissing me off today is this thread.

Mods, either ban a select few people from posting here, or just close it forever. This thread used to be an outlet to share and discuss frustrations and annoyances, big and small, in our mundane lives. If every page is now going to be swarmed with people bickering, why keep it open?

It's good to see peoples judgment on what is right isn't effected because the member in question is in the "cool crowd"

I understand people make mistakes just don't complain when your pulled up on them and asked to answer to something you created.

We've talked about this on the mod forum and decided to ban Mafija, Itachi, Passa, Vervain & NeoSanity for 1 week. This thread will also remain locked until Saturday.

We don't want to see constant bickering on the PALGN forums. Re-read your posts before you make them. This thread isn't for making moral judgements about people's posts. It also isn't for telling people off when you don't agree with their judgements. Please try to be mindful of other users and the general tone of the forum.

just have to reiterate what James has said that this thread is not designed ranting at eachother, but as an outlet for potentially irrational annoyances.

it's true that another user might be "what ticks you off", but those feuds are not what this thread is designed for, so please keep those thoughts to yourself. (obviously if the action ticking you off is against the rules of the forum, reporting to a mod or staff is still encouraged, either through PMs, or the report post button in the top right of the post.)

1) Found out last night that my favourite bar that we'd been going to most Fridays for 6 years had shut down last night. Seriously depressing. It's been the one constant in my life for years.

2) Found out the apartment I'm renting has been sold. How? Because after I clean the place for the open house this morning, no one turns up. I go outside and there's a note on the building door saying it's sold. WTF? They didn't even buzz up to let me know what was happening. Now they're not answering my calls.

3) Blackout this morning had the alarm across the street going off at ear piercing volumes for an hour. Now have headache.

^Just one of those days James. I've had a few of those over the past week.

1) Internet's been dropping out at the most inopportune moments. Infuriating when you've had very little sleep and are short fused.

2) Quake Live tests. They've set up new Clan Arena servers with different settings, but I'm having some really annoying issues with the servers, namely in hit registration. I can barely hit anything now and my lag-o-meter is showing sudden sharp ping spikes in the reds for milliseconds every few seconds. Gah, why did they have to screw with what's not broken..

3) Mosquitoes. I have three bites on my hand, and they are directly next to each other in a line. It's almost like the little bastards sniffed coke off my hand. It kept waking me up in the night too with the incredible itchiness.

Was going to go to the Broncos game last night with some friends...rock up to the train station and none of the trains are running due to a blackout or something. And there were no busses either. My team ended up losing, but that still pissed me off so much, seeings as earlier in the day we had another blackout at home and I was halfway through doing an assignment. Luckily I only lost ~15 minutes of work though.

Going to the effort of buying a turkish pide and bringing it home to get my dad to try eating more interesting/foreign food, only to have him soak it in cheap coles no name tomato sauce :/

As for me, what pisses me off is the company that cancelled my order without notifying me after:
1) they said they had the item in stock before I ordered
2) then after ordering they gave me a wait time of 7-10 days

So now they have cancelled my order, not notified me until I called up to get a status update ("oh your order is cancelled, we don't have any stock")
and now I have to wait 2-3 business days for a refund, which probably wont come in time to help buy another present before the 8th... >_<

So yeah, that pissed me off
