Well according to a couple of friends who went to Japan as exchange students, and also a couple of japanese exchange students, if you are white and in japan you basically get a damn fanclub.
One of my friends had a bunch of japanese girls that just followed her wherever she went because she was white and her younger sister became the lead singer of some small local band, not because she could sing well but because she was white and could sing in english.
Although a male friend had a bad experience when all the japanese people around him decided that because he was "white", he's half chinese half russian, that he'd be no good at kendo when he started doing lessons when he was over there. In his last week he entered a competition and came third. _________________

ah migraines how awesome are they, i used to get ones that would last 3 days when i was like 16, couldn't move or think. I think it was from being photosensitive to sunlight so i got myself some good sunglasses, but thank **** they stopped after a few years, but it still feels like a have a bruise over my eyebrow nearly 20 years later. What really sucks is that people who haven't had an actual migraine think you should toughen up because they think oh headache, no people a migraine is **** killer.
I even can remember where i was when i got them 20 years ago thats how much they affect you. _________________

A very long bank queue and only 2 people working!.
I don't usually go to banks only unless I deposit money (because tutors get paid cash in hand) but yeah, the queue didn't even move for 5 minutes. I don't even take long every time I do my deposits, I just give them my keycard, tell them the amount, give them the money and I'm finished. (that process takes 30 seconds the most).
Sigh, this bank didn't even have atms that accept cash deposits, so I just ending up not lining up. _________________

Finding out we (our household) have just been issued with a notice of eviction. We've more or less been model **** tennants, and the house has remained with the one main person for 8 years or so now, and they've been nothing but useless **** they whole **** way.
So now it's obvious that they'll be able to charge a **** more if they kick us out, fix up all the problems we've reported over the years that have never been fixed and spruce it up along the way.
Don't know how we're quite going to manage to find a place and afford the move. But hey, at least our lovely (soon to be ex) landlord will end up getting more money out of a rental property she barely give a **** about.

Locking my keys in the car right before service last night. Had a spare in my wallet...where is it? In the glovebox. ****. Luckily me Mum's an old car thief from way back (kiddin' ma) and she came out and got them for me. I'm going to have to get her to show me how to do it. It looks like a fairly simple procedure: brick through window, pop lock, retrieve keys. (nah, something about looping a thin piece of wire down through)

I've been unwell since Sunday so I thought I'd go see the doctor.
Yep. Tonsillitis.
Pretty sure I looked in my mouth towards the tonsil area and didn't see anything. Took the doctor about 2 seconds. Then I looked again, and sure enough, white puss things on my throat. Yay.
I feel crap. Can't even look at screens very long. Not sure what to do. I wanna play games and chill on the net at least. Grrrrr.... _________________

When a bunch of people stand around in the supermarket talking for an hour.
What don't they have anywhere else they can talk? A supermarket is for shopping not hanging out with your friends to talk.

How was that random? That was my custom rank(thingo below your username) about a week ago when i changed my sig/avatar back to the kanbei/advance wars theme i sported 3 years ago.
If i'd known you were influenced so easily subliminally i would have thought of something better. _________________

Our ceiling is leaking for the 3rd time from a broken toilet upstairs in another unit.
First time it happened, the strata management replaced our ceiling and applied a quick fix that was meant to be just temporary and that upstairs had to pay for their own repairs. Upstairs reported they had got it fixed but I was suspicious because living downstairs, I would've heard some sort of work going on.
(and then owner moved out and rented out the property)
Many months later when the owners upstairs moved out and rented the place out, the ceiling had water leaking yet again. Same crap happened, ceiling fixed, owner and the real estate agent that the owner hire to do rent management lied about fixing.
Today, we went to the real estate agent that does the rent for the unit upstairs. She tried to convince us that the toilet was "fixed" by my strata management even though they were repeatedly told to do a permanent fix over the temporary fix. She tried to convinced us that our strata management did a permanent fix which we know it wasn't the case and then she tried to say we are lying about our ceiling leaking. At the end, I just asked mum to stormed out, no use arguing with stupid.
O well, we will get the ceiling replaced for the 3rd time. The crappy thing is time wasted just for some tight-ass stupid landlord upstairs. _________________

Yeah well we have to go to school at 8.15 so that sucks.

Something else that pisses me off, people who stir up s**t. This bloke, one of my old friends, has been trying to convince me and my best mate to turn against each other. We've pretty much just shrugged off his every attempt but I just don't like his underhandedness. Grow some bollocks and tell me to my face. Besides, what is his motive? I'll never know.
I also hate being called a "fake Londoner who's not a true Arsenal fan," especially when the bloke has been a Chelsea supporter for three years. I've been a gooner since I was 4! And how the hell is he supposed to know where I'm from? This lad couldn't point to Greenland on a map.

That 90% of mothers who buy a DS ask me where the R4 cards are cos their daughter/sons friends have one at school.
When you tell them why australian retailers dont stock them here they either get real sheepish or still manage to not understand why they dont stock them. Happened twice in a row today when i was visiting the local EB games.
What do they want us to say??...
'Sure they are just over there by the burnt pc games we sell for $5 each...'

Why do people have to be so annoying and play games? Just to have a quick venting session - why do people do things to deliberately piss you off. I have a couple friends that I've been close with for some time. The problem is, all they do is play games, there's always some sort of drama and crap going on.
I got so sick of it that I just do my own thing now, and first thing that happens when I detatch myself from it all is try and involve me in the random crap. Accusations, assumptions, etc. Put my foot down quickly, but still annoys me. _________________

my Windscreen cracked on the way home tonight.
has anyone seen those O'brien Glass ads?
"get your stone chips fixed before they crack"?
yeah, well that happened to me. have had a stone chip in the centre of my windscreen for ages now, and i was actually wondering this afternoon how common it is for those chips to crack, when it was answered for me.
what really annoys me though is my insurance policy.
get a replacement windscreen and only pay the basic excess ($500), thought i'd ring around and get some quotes: $265 if i go to them, $310 if they come to me.
so yeah, even though i now have something legitimately wrong for which i could finally claim, it's not worth my while...

^ Whoa, thanks for the reminder Obs! I just spotted a chip in my windscreen the other day, but keep forgetting about it as it's on the passenger side and as such not in my line of vision when I drive.
Does anyone know what you're actually meant to do about a windscreen chip? Can't you get little patches or something? Or does it need to be repaired? _________________
