Don't these suck? 
There was a point in time when I got these every week, so I'm pretty competent in handling them. I got them during school, while I was sleeping, while I was on the phone (did wonders for my communication), but still, getting them as often as this is a pain in the ass. I just got one during a shower - a SHOWER!
So who here suffers from the infamous 'nose split'? Share your sorrow!

I have that problem too. The worst situation that I've had with it was during an english exam's listening comprehension. Suddenly I saw blood dripping out of my nose straight on the test paper. I stood up, walked across the classroom to get some paper, with everyones eyes on me... It is so annoying, all the people just stare at you like they have never before seen a bleeding nose. Hate it when it happens.
The other thing is when you are asleep. The next morning you wake up, your face is covered with blood and your pillow and blanket ar dark red..
You just can't see it coming. It comes when least expected.

Well .. I'm proud to say that I've never had a nose bleed - not even when I got smacked with a basketball three times and broke my nose. It really sucks for you.

Serious? Nosebleeds just randomly happen for me.

Yeah that's when I used to get them most. Haven't had one for a while, knock on wood.
I always thought it was strange that I never have the urge to sniff like with a runny nose. Sorry to be gross, but I think it's weird that I never feel the blood coming - it just drips out. That sure doesn't happen to me when I have a cold.

I never really get nose bleeds. The only time it ever happened to me (that I can remember) was when I got hit in the nose with a cricket ball in primary school.

I used to get them frequently so I went to the doctor and she stuck a Q-Tip up my nose with some liquid on it and I haven't had one since.
Must have been about 8 years ago now.

I almost had to get that done, I think it burns your nostril or something. I havn't had a nose bleed in years though.

Yes it does burn and it's like sneezing acid for 2 days. But you get used to it.

Whenever I get nose bleeds I make sure I take full advantage of them. Forcing as much blood out as possible down your face, stagger around the school into younger people, roll eyes back in head. Works for me.

I get them quite frquently at the beginning of Winter and at the beginning of Summer. I've had the chemical burn done, it lasted for only one season. It gets to the point where I could donate blood on demand (through my nose - which I don't think they accept it that way).

I always bleed out of my left nostril, without fail, apart from one time during my chemo months where it went over to the right in protest for a week.
