mm, that's great, ittekimasu!
I would think the point and click game should be in the form of manga. But point and clicks are always in the danger of not being able to draw in the player. So the storyline would really have to be deep and hardhitting, in order for the player to play it for an extended period of time.
I think Buttmouth's idea of the player gradually uncovering that he's actually the villan would be nice. The game needs to question motives. Since we can't do really pretty cutscenes and the like, the game must emotionally challenge the player in order to be successful. _________________

Here's another sketch, next time I might try to mature the face but if anything these are just fodder for anyone who has any ideas.
I'll want to try and work on the hacker plot again when I get the chance next time.

The sad news is that I won't be able to continue with it .. due to other commitments that I need to finish before I can commit myself to this wholly. If any of you guys would like to continue then please go ahead .. little groups could be arranged and games could be made within you guys. _________________

as far as i know it's dead, but if there's a couple who still want to tackle this and try to get something going, i'm still up to try and do some concept art on the stories/arc's you produce. _________________

Id be up for getting involved in this if anyone was interested in reviving it. Don't ask me to write any code or draw any pictures, but I am not too shabby with 3D Modelling and Animation. Have been doing it for the past few years, made a few cutscenes for an indie game a while ago but it never kicked off...would be nice to actually have a finished project to add to my portfolio...and a nice group of people to work with for a change (last game I tried to help out the guy seemed to forget I was volunteering my time and expected me to work on it for 6 hours a day). _________________

those who want to participate is more than welcome to, the table is pretty much still open in terms of story for the time being so if your interested we can start throwing ideas and see if we can either try to continue where we were heading with the detective or villian story or perhaps start fresh.
but speaking about that i've doodled another concept for the detective. if anyone has any ideas that might want to try and get me to put in picture format for them feel free to IM me.

I've got a mad idea, it's a 2d platformer.
the main character should be a tradesman.. something like.. a plumber. possibly italian background. He's trying to rescue a princess from a dinosaur.
Anyway, he runs and jumps over pipes and gaps and monsters.
