I've never got into fan subs. Firstly I have a crappy net connection and secondly I don't know where to get them from. Care to enlighten me on the second point?

I have 40gb of anime, mostly unlicensed, on this computer, and I am nearing 120 anime dvds..
 
As for where to get Fansubs, you can get them from IRC, lots of the fansub groups have channels on MIRC-X. If you have a slow connection I would recommend Bit Torrent. I can give you some links if you want?

Practically all of my DVDs are Anime. I'm a big anime fan really. Primariy Ghibli works. I'll watch anything really. Talking cats to tentacles. Preferably tentacles. Actually I hate talking cats... apart from venus five.

Well, I've seen Vampire Hunter D, The End of Evangelion, The Boy Who Saw The Wind, and Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade on World Movies, I own Spirited Away on DVD as well as a few others that don't spring to mind right now, and I regularly watch Adult Swim on Cartoon Network...
...So, yeah, I guess I like anime... a little bit.
