Just noticed the run down for this March/April promotion on Xbox Live. It follows on from the Summer of Arcade last year, but the list of titles is fairly decent:
The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai
Flock
Hasbro Family Game Night
Lode Runner
Outrun Online Arcade
Puzzle Quest: Galactrix
UNO Rush
The last three will probably get most of the attention on that list. What interests me the most Puzzle Quest, which was supposed to be out a few weeks ago on Live. It isn't an official release date, but at least I know when, roughly, to expect that one. Still, I can't help but be annoyed that it was delayed, and no real reason was given either. I certainly hope it wasn't just to fill out the release list for this promotion. Meh.

I played The Dishwasher when it was an XNA game on the US marketplace, it was pretty solid so it's nice to see we're getting the full version. _________________

Out of those titles I'd only be interested in Outrun, but I hope they don't try to charge 1200 points for it _________________ RIP Buddha 19/10/1952 - 03/01/2004

Seems like they are going to have a fair crack at making the majority of titles 1200 points so i wouldn't be surprised.
A remake of scorched earth for 1200 points ffs. _________________ kill, kill, kill.....the white man. Kill the white man, kill

The Hasbro games are 7 games but they're sold separately and each is like 800 points or something stupid. _________________

| Quote: | On Monday we relased the achievemnts for Family Game Night by EA, but some people were a little confused as there were seven different titles for 1400 gamerpoints. A bit odd as seeing no games release with 1400 points.
We contacted EA and received the following information.
The Hasbro Family Game Night destination on Xbox LIVE Arcade will house a collection of 7 different arcade games, each with 200 gamerscore points. There are 10 achievements and 200 gamerscore points per game for a total of 1400 gamerscore points and 70 Achievements across all 7 games.
In mid-March EA is launching four of the seven announced titles: SCRABBLE (North America only), BATTLESHIP, CONNECT FOUR and YAHTZEE. BOGGLE, SORRY! and SORRY! Sliders will be releasing the coming months. The games will be sold individually for 800 Microsoft points. |

here are the achievements for anyone who is interested.

Probably to encourage the achievement whores, or completionists, to buying all 7 games. If someone buys Scrabble and "finishes" it, on their Gamercard it will read 200/1400 points, right? So the whole Hasbro game is not actually finished...In order for that person to finish the whole game he'd have to buy ALL 7 games at a whopping 5600 total MS points ($90+ AUD!).
If the games were listed separately on your gamercard, people can pick the ones they want and still get the satisfaction of completing a game, without having to buy the rest.
I'm sure there is a market of 360 gamers just like that - people who buy DLC just for achievements and the sake of finishing off a game 100% - and EA is doing what EA does best.

According to Major Nelson, "First out of the gate on March 18th is Hasbro Family Game Night. Following that, I’ll post each Monday what that weeks Arcade release will be."
And if the 360achievements article is correct, only four of Hasbro's titles will actually be available - Scrabble, Battleship, Connect Four and Yahtzee for 800 points each! And Scrabble will be North America only

dont like guitar hero/ music franchiese, etc?
i must say, if you play those music games for too much over a short period of time, you tend to get over them.

Upcoming XBLA Releases:
* UNO Rush - March 25th
* Puzzle Quest: Galactrix - April 1st
* Flock! - April 8th
* Dishwasher - April 8th
* OutRun Online Arcade - April 15th
* Lode Runner - April 22nd
^ came across this on another forum, but the poster didn't provide a source...
I'm still hoping that Banjo Tooie squeezes in as a surprise inclusion somewhere, or at the end of the month (ie: April 29th).

I too am sick of seeing these clog up the New Releases section every time i look. But thats more because of the poor Marketplace layout than anything.
