Finding out I did quite quite well in my QA duties, well enough for KOEI to have just invited me back to test their next game. Beaming. _________________

I started playing indoor cricket 3 weeks ago. Most of the team are new to indoor cricket and have found it difficult to adjust from the outdoor game we play together on Saturdays. The first game we lost 160-35. The next week we lost 147-90.
This week the other team got 129, batting first. I was batting in the final pair for my team (you go in pairs, 4 overs each, losing runs for wickets rather than being 'out') with my best mate. In the final over, we drew level on 129 on the 3rd last ball. 2 balls to go and we need 1 run. The 2nd last ball was bowled and my friend hit it straight to a fielder. We could have run but I didn't want to risk losing a wicket and having to get 6 off the last ball (near impossible with the 2 of us batting and our skill level). Last ball, he taps it to a fielder again, we both just run for it. Fielder picks up the ball and throws to the stumps, misses and we make it. We won a game for the first time off the last ball of the game. Awesome! _________________

The dogs were running around the pool & the young short one ran right into the arse of the big one. The action & their reactions straight afterwards was hilarious. They both looked at each other so awkwardly & walked off in opposite directions.

Had to get a few x-rays today so walked into Queensland X-Ray, the place was packed and I was like argh this is gonna take forever. Anyway, took my referral to the counter and then sat down, 2 minutes later the guy calls my name so I go in, get my x-rays done straight away, went out and got changed and then two minutes later I had them in hand and was walking out the door. I've never had any done before so I didn't know what it entailed but yeah, was pretty pleased with the experience... pity about the scoliosis (well I don't know for sure till I see the doc tomorrow but seriously, looking at the x-rays, my spine is ****). _________________

Dude if you were my friend and you did that to me, extra copy or not, I'd have punched you in the face. _________________

Went to the Melbourne Motor Show today, and had a sit in some of the cars I could afford. My favourite was the new Ford Fiesta, simply because of the voice controlled dash. Seriously, I felt like freaking Captain Picard. _________________

Finally got homebrew channel installed onto my Wii. I was full of frowns because I was having trouble installing homebrew, but now I''m full of smiles.
Next purchase will be Tatsunoko vs. Capcom! _________________

The cold Melbourne weather made me smile today. I had to put a jumper on, and had the heater on in my car for the first time in ages. There is something ever so comforting about being all snug in a nice warm place while outside it's overcast, and rainy with gale force, gusty winds.
Time for a nice warm cup of coffee! _________________

Randomly running into fellow PALGNer Denny today after getting off the bus at uni. After only meeting each other in person once at Sydney Meat V1 he still recognize me pretty quickly and didn't give me a "who the **** are you man" Sorry I had to cut our chat short, I had to grab a seat in a ridiculously small lecture theatre for a very large class before they rapidly filled up I also told him that I'd mention it in this thread as I left and have now done so _________________

I was also at the motor show today. We ended up spending a bit of time at the Audi stand where they had made the baffling decision to fit what looked like office-style halogen lamps across the ceilings of all their cars that could be sat in. Seriously, it looked hilariously bad and at first we thought it was a part of the car. We decided it wasn't when we saw bolted on using an exposed metal frame - very unaudilike. Lovely cars though. If I had the dosh I'd snap up an A4 right now.
The show overall was disappointing, a lot of the major players (in particular Mercedes) were missing, and even the lack of smaller vendors was noticeable. It was a fun day regardless, as I caught up with three of my close high-school buddies. _________________ Ramblabout

Teaching my dogs to cycle with me. Since my hands aren't free I had to train them to respond to verbal commands, which was easy enough. Now I can cycle with them and they don't suddenly stop or cross infront of me. They only pull me when I tell them too, otherwise they run beside me.
Nothing beats cycling with your dog.

TvC is awesome(Viewtiful Joe/Alex/Ken the Eagle/Ippatsuman are my faves). All i say is you should at least have a Classic controller to play. It's the only way to play it....other than getting one of the Wii arcade sticks.

Haha that's all good, do what you have to do.

The problem could have been averted by simply dumping the bike and riding your dog. _________________

It could have, but the brakes are in a most unfortunate place.

Waking up at 3:30am, completely rejuvenated and energetic, and generally feeling great knowing I had got all the stocktake shifts at my places of employment out of the way, and had reached my day off.
I drank a little much with dinner last night and fell into a coma-like state at around 9pm, then slept through till 3 like a log...ahhhhhh
So now I'm energetic, and happy to be getting so many hours out of a day... it's great! _________________

^ Wish I was so energetic, I'm feeling dead tired as usual.
I did smile when I came home and found Alex cleaning the bathroom, mopping the floors and doing the dishes. I think he skipped the harder parts of the bathroom cleaning which I'll still have to do, but it's better than nothing!

If you're asking if Alex snored... no, he wasn't there most of the night, since he'd slept a few hours before I went to bed and got up at 3:30 am. I don't sleep well because I wake up so frequently, usually hot and dehydrated. _________________

This may sound a bit strange at first, but having an honest customer who said he got to much change and gave it back!
I work at pizza hut, and I am constatly bombarded with annoying and frustrating customers and no matter how hard I try to help them with a problem, I always get the raw end of the stick! So it was really nice to actually have a person take the time to call up and say he had been given too much change on his delivery, which is even more unheard of!
- scratch that, i just had a walk in customer abuse me
*customer walks in and places his order
*he asks for a large pan thin based bbq meat lovers
i say "im sorry sir, but was that on pan or thin base?"
to which the reply "Now look her you little smart assed c***. Im not here to play your games. Now ive asked for a large pan thin and thats what i want!"
*customer storms out and slams the front door
Now what i do???? do i make him a pan? or a thin?? im so confused... im pretty sure he wants a thin but what if im wrong????? this is going to end badly i can see it now....
and my day started out so well _________________
