I've got an idea for a game where people throw ducks at balloons. I believe it will profit nicely. _________________ "Let me guess, you're one of those brothers who think you can get by with a wink and a smile."

Plenty. Unfortunantly, I cant give them to you as they are original ideas that belong to me and have intended use later on when I am in the industry.

The idea of ducks being hurled at baloons seems to intrigue me. I shall create my own that will allow the users to throw geese at baloons. It think that's different enough for a lawsuit to be avoided, right? jk

look
why bother replying if you're to damn scared to share ideas
**i mean if you're basing you're chances of working in the games industry in one idea then you're career is over already
ok now thats rant over ^^
ummm sorry i'm new here and was just interested in chatting about designing games
i mean the idea that i could steal ur idea is stupid -so don't worry ----
i must be the worst programmer ever anyway...
so to get us started
:]
ok heres my idea --feel free to point any crit/evals out
this game is takes place modern day and is probably platform style
target aud : kids
so the hero (player) is given the abillity to change form from baby to man to old man each of which has adv and disad
the aim is to defeat robbers who are stealing and causing mild panic in town and the player does this through utilising each form
ok i know its hardly the next halo but i think that if the levels are challenging and fun it would be good fun to play.
now i think it would make a good game cause its balck and white
i.e bad vs good and so it's not going to go too deep
right have to go - i know thers loads of holes but running out of time
sorry for any confusion man
will ^^

If it's any kind of feathered animal being thrown at any kind of party supplies, I'll sue you for every $poon you're worth.
*looks at merlingt's $poon count*
Oh... Damn!

I'll gladly buy the idea for every $poon I'm worth.
I'm new here too, glad to see humor has a good home here.
But on the topic of game design ideas, here is one for you.
Remember the game Decent(Spelling)? Well I came up with a good idea for an arcade game (arcade only). You could have an actual cockpit for the device with three good size montirs that act as your view to the outside of your craft. There would be anywhere from 2 to 16 of these pods connected (it would be quite a bit of space consumption though). In the cockpit you would have your headphones and boom mic that would let you communicate with your team. each team would have an ait passcode, if the other team cracked your code, they could monitor your conversations. Each weapon would have a corresponding button that needed to be activated before use.
I'm not sure what to classify that as, but I've did a little work on the details, needless to say, I can't produce a prototype, and the initial costs (not being mass-produced) would be incredibly high. What are your thoughts on that?

Don't feel bad, I find myself wanting $poons as much as cash, so i guess it holds the same value, it's just not widely accepted - meaning that everyone else in the world is discriminating palgn's official currency. Isn't that supposed to be prevented by something the UN signed?
