We are gathered here today for a very historic occurrence. A long, long time ago Jibbs made the agreement whereupon if Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts achieved a metascore of 80 he would change his username to 'Dumbass Lil Bitch'.
The metacritic page has now been edited to include PALGN's review and as such the metacritic score is now 80 and as such I thought that I would call Jibbs up here so that he may change his username and admit that he was wrong and Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts was indeed "Teh Awesome".
His agreement is post below so that others may read it themselves:

Bit of a catch 22 though, Jibbs stated if it gets OVER an "8" on PalGN he would change his name, altering the site in question to Metacritic and not PalGN implied a change to an "80" score. It's got exactly 80. Technically not over his initial claim. That said, arguing semantics, it actually is well and truly above and beyond the score of 8 that is clearly stated in the original post so really, Jibbs is a "dumbass lil bitch".

Inappropriate? I'm not joking when I say I've had this post ready to go and saved in a .txt document since Banjo-Kazooie came out! I've had his comment and the link to the original post saved in my PALGN profile since his post last year. Inappropriate? No, you just beat me to it!

Which is why I didn't make the aforementioned post, given the metacritic score started at 80 way back when, then dipped to 79 (with that quite frankly retarded Wired.com score of 50). Regarding your second point though, I did make a note of that to Jibbsy last week when the PALGN review went up and he had a whinge

And whilst it implied a change to 80 his wording is ambiguous enough as he never stated that the changed score would be scaled appropriately to match metacritic's x out of 100 scale and instead left it as an 8 on metacritic.
His own wording implies that he should now be called a 'dumbass lil bitch'.

If you really want to get technical, he said "more than an 8", I believe the score on metacritic is 80. If my maths is correct, the score is about 72 points higher than what he put the betting line at.

If you want to get even more technical, the real average review score is 79.13, so I don't know what rounding methods Metacritic employs. But I don't want to be a party-pooper.

It has an 8.1 from users, since he technically didn't specify users or sites, that would count wouldn't it? not that it should either way though. I do think though that's as silly as the "he said 8 technically" argument.
And while it would be foolish to disagree with either, I think it would be unfair to punish him on wording or any of those sorts of technicalities. I would LOVE to see his name changed, it would be hilarious, but not unless the score average is 81 between all the review sites. And we never know, another review might push the score up a bit higher (although it would take quite a few 85's or a 100 or two to get it there  ).

That's where I was up to before I accidentally deleted all of my saved games and now have to face doing it all over again.
Still, not as bad a feeling as I have about having to redo all of my other games that were close to 90% complete like Lego Star Wars.

I WILL DO NO SUCH THING.....as i never agreed to it.
Though on the otherhand, a man has but nothing if not his word.So, i will change my username.I mean i could argue that result has become skewed by palgn's score(conflict of interest?), that, aside from an 8/80 typo my word still technically holds true as the game is still not more then 80 on metacritic, and that dances can suck my balls(which he does daily nightly and ever so rightly) but..........that would be petty.
