After reading the above in the "Readers Questions for PALGN Staff" thread I realized that the NXE gamercards off mygamercard.net actually exceed the 40kb file size limit and the 110 vertical pixel limit.
So everybody might want to switch there's over to the mini ones which are below size limitsw.

Yep, for sigs that uses the normal size, example http://card.mygamercard.net/nxe/BlueIslandWolf.png
just add mini/ after nxe/ like this
http://card.mygamercard.net/nxe/mini/(gamertag id).png
and then it won't break the sig limit.

Posted it in the other thread, but oh well. This one was modelled to look like me while high in the 10 minutes I had to make it, but when I get back, I'll go through some of the more tedious customisations like the eyebrows etc.

I came out looking like an asian harry potter, and the glasses just look too much like sunglasses, perhaps i could get a better result with a bit of work, but when i made it i just really wanted to start loading a game onto the HDD and not spend time making an avatar
