Just curious, because the difference in amount between my friends and I is fairly large.
I pay $24.95/month on a 56k plan with Unlimited Hours and a 425MB Download Limit. I'm with iPrimus - I know there's unlimited download plans out there, but iPrimus has been incredibly reliable for me (Bigpond dropped out far too frequently).
Some of my friends pay up to $100 a month on their internet (ADSL)... I think that's a bit excessive, but if anything especially cool pops up with Xbox Live multiplayer, I might have to pay that much too.
So, what sort of plan are you on, and are you happy with it? _________________

currently with dodo 56k unlimited downloads for $69.90 for 3months.
moving to Internode 512/128 adsl flatrate for $99 per month soon.
Havn't had much problems with dodo, get very quick speeds too. _________________ Watching television is like taking black spray paint to your third eye

$98 every 3 months for iPrimus' Infinity National plan.
Unlimited hours, unlimited downloads - only problem is the 5 hour dropouts.

Currently we (mum and me) have $24.95 a month with unlimited download and a limit of (i think) 120 hours a month. This plan is with Optus, and I dont really like it, it used to disconnect heaps but now we got the new computer it hasnt and I cant work out why its changed!
(Btw, this is using a 56k modem.) _________________

Uh, no idea. I know there's unlimited hours and downloads, on two ISPs for some odd reason. TPG is one, but it's slow and just crap.
iPrimus is better, but the last 6 weeks or so it has been unbelievably crap - dropouts, doesn't transfer, and just a general hassle. Meh.

Not too bad.
I'm with swiftel, paying at $75 a month for unlimited downloads/ unlimited time. Speed set at 512/128. No speed reduction/shaping/ or dropout whatsoever. (Except on telsta's behalf of course).

$38.95 a month for unlimited hours and 700MB download limit with Telstra. Pity I usually end up paying about $60 a month since I quite often go over. _________________

WHY IS ANYONE WITH TELSTRA??????????????
They are an absolute rip off.
There are unlimited 56k plans everywhere for around 25 bucks/month on average. Iprimus's infinity plan is excellent value and you NEVER have to worry about going over the download limit. Can't understand ppl that pay more then this and have a download limit.
I've just recently changed to Westnet 512k/128k for $80/month. 8 GB Peak, 8 GB off peak. And you get slowed to 72K once you reach this limit or you can pay 6c per meg over.
Theres plenty of 256K UNLIMITED plans out there for around 70 bucks a month. This sounds like a lot if you are on 56k but factor in the phone calls you make plus second phone line rental with your monthly bill and you'd be suprised how much you spend.[/b] _________________ Over and out..

I pay $24 a month with OzEmail they are very good. It connects good and its unlimited hours. The only bad thing is that it has a 650MB limit and it disconnects after 4hrs. Still very good. _________________

Session Limits? Download caps? seriously guys change your isp's and shop around - you are getting Ripped big time. Comindico (australia) do NOT charge isp's for data, they put the caps on themselves to rip you and make more money. Have a look around and you can get some bloody good deals.
Myself i'm paying 20 a month, no session limit no download or hours limit.

Ouch.
I've been on a special plan on Optus for a couple of years now. $29/month for unlimited downloading and 250 hours/month using their net roll-over option - meaning that any hours I don't use in a month get rolled over to the next one. And 250 hours is more than I need anyway.
Reliable service, not many drop-outs and I don't get booted off every couple of hours. _________________

I'm using Kopu 512/512 adsl with a monthly payment of 70 euros.. Though my connection seldom stops, the ping in multiplayer games like Halo / Cs / q3 is very high. In every respect this connection is compulsory for me for the reason that I d/l anime, music, write rewievs and today I'm going to buy Xbox Live, so... o_o;, _________________ "what is a man, a miserable pile of little secrets?"
