As in WR BS, and i change my stance of thoughts. No, it doesnt have N64 graphics, theyre actually quite good, and you really have to adapt to the style of the game.
But im afraid that it wont last too long, as i completed a championship, did all the stunt modes and time trials (almost) while i was there. Still very fun.
So yes, i take what i said back. It is a really great game.

JSRF does look amazing. I finished it the other week. Great game, pity about the occasional bout of slowdown. Still fantastic though (play as Corn he's cool!).
I LOVED Wave Race 64, and from what Ive played at the instore Kiosk I've been a little underwhelmed by the new version. I'm not too fussed about the graphics, whether theyre better or not, textures blah blah. My concern is how it plays. Im just not sold on the need to use shoulder buttons. The feel of the crafts is a little different, and Im worried that theyve changed something that was already perfect. Looking around the internet, the only site truely impressed with WRBS is cubeIGN.com. Matt Cassmatta, or what ever his name is gave it a good wrap. But so many others have descibed it as average........

I still have to sit down and play with it some more, but with what I've played the game wont last very long, except for multiplayer, which really never ends...

Have any of you guys heard of how hard it is to beat the Expert mode?
Your opponents become so aggresive that apparently it's almost impossible to come in first!
And secondly, if you've tried the kiosk version, don't judge the game by a minimal demo, as everything has been stripped down. Remember that tracks actually change in layout and weather conditions depending on the difficulty setting you're playing in the full version...
All I know is that I'll be enjoying the game at launch. 8) _________________

Ditto.
I sort of ignored WR64 until later in the N64's lifespan.... Then I became hooked. So I went to buy the game, only to be told they didn't make it anymore...
Okay, I could have bought it from a secondhand shop, but there's none near me and the Cube is oh so close... _________________

Hey I love Wave RAce 64. Thats why I'm expecting alot from WRBS. I went to the Sydney N64 launch and spent all of my time with WR. The game still rocks and if you look around you can still get it.
I loved Wave Race 64, and now Wave Race Blue Storm, with better voices (still not perfect but better than Maximum Power!!!!), better graphics (*drools over water*), and 4 player split screen at solid 30fps!..
I'm blown away _________________ Even after the Xbox pricedrop to $399 it still doesnt compete with Gamecube.
