^.....I have adjusted the sensitivity, but still makes no difference for me.
I have played this game for a good 2 hours and online about the same and are not getting into the game and finding it a let down, so will be returning it tomorrow and put the money towards something else. _________________

Ah well, each to their own I guess.
By the way, is EB or anyone offering good trade in values for this one? If I'm able to power through this one in the next day or so I might trade it in for Fallout 3. _________________

Absolutely loving the multiplayer so far, currently sitting on rank 5, will delve into the single player when I reach rank 10. Struggled to even get a kill for the first couple of hours but now my k/d ratio is starting to climb back up considerably. I can understand Zeldamario's point in terms of finding people on some of the bigger maps, you really need surround sound for this, they become much easier to locate.
Hard to find aussies though, pretty much finding all red dots except for the odd game here and there, so I'm regurlarly hosting. Please add me if you're ever up for some multi.

Not quite so for me, the game physically won't let me join any games that have a red bar for their ping (except maybe twice, and even the lag was minor), so I can only join green/yellow ones which are few and far between. I've been having a ****load of trouble with xbox live over the past 3 weeks and am buying a compatible router this afternoon, so hopefully this will fix the problem.

Well I've found myself stuck with a game ruining glitch. I can't beat one of the Malaria Underground missions (first one) because every time I go to complete the mission in the hut the guy who is supposed to be there - is NOT. At all.. end of story. I'm not the only one with the glitch and I cannot seem to find any solution. If I have to restart the game I think i'll throw it to the side until next year when I'm done with games that actually work.
It's may seem awful how my opinion can go from so positive to so negative but this sort of thing is just not acceptable in any game, regardless of how good the rest is. _________________

That really sucks ppjim3... I heard about this bug affecting several people on GameFAQs yesterday, in addition to several other game breaking bugs such as waking up in your safe house to find yourself locked between the bed and your buddy exercising, or all missions disappearing permanently.
For this reason, I keep two save files, one for inside missions, one for between them. _________________

I would have been more than happy to do that if I knew about these before I guess it's lesson learned but I just hope they aren't as common as it seems from posts on other websites. So many people getting to like 80% or so and then having to start again. _________________

Beat this last night.
I have to say, while I enjoyed the game, I found the delivery of the plot to be a bit lacking. I felt like I was left to figure out what was going on for myself, even though it was probably supposed to be obvious.
The ending is also less satisfying than even Bioshock's infamous 20 second closer. _________________

I also experienced the glitch where you become trapped between your buddy and a wall in a safehouse - although I had saved seconds beforehand.
Now i keep two savegames - just in case
As for the guy not appearing in the underground mission, i also experienced a similar situation. Although not a glitch.
Firstly I was unable to even enter the house - turns out I needed to kill every guy surrounding the place, I thought I had but one guy was left crippled on the ground behind a rock with his pistol (didn't see he him). Once i finished him off, I was able to enter the house.
Secondly, once inside the house, I was unable to find the guy. I was able to talk to a man who was standing but he did not give me the medicine. - Turns out the guy i was meant to talk to was crouched on the ground healing other dudes in another room. _________________ Please support my love of gaming by making your play-asia purchases through my affiliate link.

Both of those things are exactly how it is supposed to be, lol. You have to talk to the standing guy first, then turn around and talk to the other people. _________________

Anyone else having problems with the Jackal tapes? I've found about 11 or 12 and now each time I find a new one and pick it up it doesn't play and doesn't show up in the "Jackal Tapes" section of the menu. And it would seem like it's gone from the game world too. WTF? _________________

I can't find any Jackal tapes! What do they look like and where are they most commonly found?

Picked up this game a few days on PC and thoroughly enjoying thus far. I can see where a lot of people are coming from in terms of the game's faults, but I don't think they're game breaking at all. It feels like a very unique FPS so far.
Found my first tape recorder; bit of surprise as I was searching for a diamond briefcase =p _________________

Was playing through this tonight and just randomly got the achievement for hitting all the weapons convoys despite having only hit a few of them... weird. Anyone else experienced anything like this? _________________

I got the same thing. It's not random. Let me presume that you just escaped from a certain somewhere when it came up?
The achievement really should read "unlocked all the weapons" because that's what you've done. You are at the end of the game, so all the weapons have been unlocked for you - go check! _________________

respawn time and healing times are far to long 10 seconds for each should be ample time otherwize gameplay is great online and off , oh and levelling up is a little long when you get to the higher levels.
i have also noticed that when i was playing 360 version lots more players talk then the ps3 players , guess reason is that 360's come with a headset unlike the ps3 , the ps3 version should have been like warhawk and come with headset . maybe in the collectors edition instead of the useless things they put in the c.e . not many people keep games wrapped up / sealed for the purpose of collecting.

if the game was online only and a ps3 exclusive yeah they probably would of put a headset with it. (like socom and warhawk)
but putting it in with a multiplatform game that is more offline focused, and the official headset not out everywhere (out in the states and japan or whatever still not out here yet) it wasnt going to happen.
then if they did add the headset, it would be silly to not add it to games like resistance 2 which is exclusive and will be heavily populated online.
but even adding the headset will raise the price too much even for the CE's where as games like warhawk and socom werent the most expensive games but still very popular and online only, so its not really a problem.
has anyone seen any improvement on the ps3 version after the 1.02 patch?
it was meant to help with dns server problems. so im guessing that it would stop dropping you out of a game after the game finishes and so you dont have to find a new game every time. but it still did it so i havent found any difference. _________________

Got it, love it. Main gripe? Probably already been said, but the impossible range and accuracy of these rusty jungle assault rifles is pretty damn annoying. The number of times I've been killed by 4 people I can't even see getting 80% hits each with assault rifles from miles away is frankly off-putting. I make sure my primary weapon is always a sniper rifle now, it's the only way I can seem to kill things.
Saying that though, still an awesome game. Pretty too, very pretty. _________________
