HDMI to DVI cable from friggin' Target for guess how much...? Seriously, you would never guess...
88 FRIGGIN' CENTS! The only reason why it was so low was because the packaging was so damaged and it was already on clearance, its actual RRP on the back is $39.95. I've already used it to play my PS3 on my PC monitor. Will come in handy when my wife is hogging our main TV.
Also, went to K-Mart and I sifted through all their PS3 games and I picked up a brand new copy of Timeshift on PS3 for guess how much...
17 FRIGGIN' DOLLARS!
Ah, what a day. |

can you snagg me a copy ?
also how is it that your able to use HDMI to DVI on your pc moniter ? is it a tv ? - isnt there HDCP mumbo jumbo in the way ?

I'm terribly delayed with the claiming of my purchases, but I'll post them anyway:
Dead Space PS3 - $74.96 because people get me discounts.
Far Cry 2 PC - $69 because people get me discounts.
Dead Space I'm up to the second level and I've had it for near a week. I'm that much of a wuss yes. But then again, space mutated freak monster things + Event Horizon has always scared the absolute crap out of me.
Oh and:
WoW Time Card - $29 because I know Discount Demons
Preparing for Wrath of the Lich King! _________________

Not games today, but I got following items delivered today.
I got the my second iPhone 3G Dock, second Dock Connector to USB Cable, and a leather hip case (Marware C.E.O. Premiere for iPhone 3G) from Apple Australia today. (The AirPort Express is for a friend of mine.)
The reason for getting another iPhone Dock is that I can stand up the iPhone in living room besides my office room. _________________ A very happy Mac user. my blog: AntBlog701

What is Airport Express? Our iMac has airport, so is it for older macs? Or to extend the range of the wireless connection?

It's a wireless base station, similar to AirPort Extreme Base Station or Time Capsule, but less powerful. However, AirPort Express has the ability to stream music (AirTunes).

You're talking about Skate, not Timeshift, right? I think I could. They had somewhere between 5-10 copies of it left. I'd have to charge you about $30 all up to include postage but I'll send it express or I could send for $25 via regular post but I don't know how much faith you have in Australia post. Let me know.

This is my PC monitor...
http://www.lge.com/products/model/detail/l194wt.jhtml
It's got 2 outputs, one for DVI (digital signal) and I think the other is D-Sub (analog signal). The PS3 doesn't look as good as it does on my main TV (which maxes at 1080i) as this monitor only does 576p. Not too bad to play on though. The specs do say the DVI has HDCP but I never had trouble using my PS3 on it.

Oh, well there were only two copies of Timeshift left, and I got one of them. I can have a look to see if the other one is still there (today or tomorrow) but you'll have to let me know quick and confirm that you want it and you'll pay me for it.
Since it's $17, I would charge $22 all up for regular postage. I could send it registered for $25.
Also, though it is brand new my copy wasn't sealed so when they put those stupid K-Mart stickers on them, they leave a lot of residue. Just a warning, I cleaned my case though (with some Goo Remover - thanks Big Kev) so you could do the same.
Send me a PM to further discuss.

Fallout 3: CE (X360).
went for a walk down to EB during lunch due to everyone else here saying it's out. my phone started ringing literally as i passed the threshold of EB and as i could see Mr. EB on the phone, i said "i think you're calling me at the moment to tell me to come pick up FO3". and lo, i was right.
also picked up Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning CE.
damn me and my CE addictions. _________________

^ heh, that's almost a benefit right there. i can see me not going back to Fable for a few weeks now, which is going to be a tad annoying, since i'll continue making gold from my properties all that time, and will probably load it up to find i'm a billionaire or something. _________________

I just realized this afternoon I had a missed call from GAME so I headed off to the shops to find out I could pick up my Fallout 3 Bonus Pack one day early. The contents seem pretty decent especially the Brotherhood of Steel model, its certainly up there with my Big Daddy from Bioshock CE.
For those of you interested in seeing what everything looks like heres some photos:
Should be great considering how much I love Oblivion. _________________

Nah, lunchbox is awesome. I'm a computer science student and actually plan on using it - it's a mark of respect in my world.
Speaking of which, look at what I found at EB today...
Everything in the world is good today.
