The real question is whether this also stealths in a 'fix' for the Twilight Hack that allows you to load the Homebrew Channel on. There's an app to change the internal region of your system so the freeloader's less of a necessity.

and also new homebrew channel installations (anything allready installed is unaffected) until a fix is made.
i'd leave this update for now if you can.

this update stops people playing with wads, custom ios and some other stuff. if you want to update make sure you install the hbc BEFORE updating! once it is installed you can update and will still be able to play region free games with that (not backups though, this update kills the software hack that let people play burnt games without a modchip im pretty sure)

God damn Nintendo. All I want to do is play my copies of Mario Kart and Smash Bros but nooooooo, you had to go and block the freeloader working. Hopefully we can get a freeloader update. I would be really pissed if I need to sell my copies then re-buy when I'm back in Australia.

I need to do the homebrew hack. I have the update before the one that blocked freeloader. But I need to buy an SD card reader, or go to my friends house cause he has one. Can someone direct me towards the website on how to do it?

WiiBrew is awesome. They have this section where you tick the boxes of everything you want, download a zip file, and then you extract it onto your SD card and it'll all be in the correct file structure for you.
Easy as pie
