Big W DS games:
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess: $44.82
Is this meant to be in the Wii section or is it Phantom Hourglass? _________________

@ Darunia: Yep, it should read Phantom Hourglass. Thanks, I'll fix it.
@Marka: My understanding is that there's no blood in the PAL version of No More Heroes. _________________

The Wii bundle at Big W is tempting me, as De Blob is a big draw for me, but I'm thinking the money would be better served saved or used on this big period for my 360... _________________

not sure if its really a big saving and its not really a gaming bargain as such but ALDI have a 32inch 1080p LCD for $899. so if someone wanted a tv and not a monitor i guess it could be considered a saving.... _________________

I personally wouldn't really trust electronics from Aldi. More than likely it'd be factory seconds they're selling. Heard it on the grapevine from someone who knows someone (naturally), so you never know _________________

p.s. order the US version of No More Heroes when the exchange rate comes back into sanity, it'll only cost a few dollars more and you won't get a neutered compromised experience. _________________

3.3 only killed the twilight hack for a day or so (even then, anything you'd already installed was untouched), and it's all back in action now.
apart from region free games, you can also unlock all kinds of coolness like xvid and dvd playback - and a whole host of homebrew applications with various levels of radness usefulness (quake wii) and "nefariousness" (nothing I'll mention here). _________________

I hate to be a party pooper, but can we please stop the discussion about Wii channel hacks. While the purpose of region locking/unlocking is fair enough, I am also aware that the applications can be used to play ROMs and do other illegal stuff. _________________

Updated to include Dick Smith bargains. They've reduced a stack of games to insane prices, not as good as previous sales but the prices are far better than anywhere else at the moment. _________________

The biggest OMG for me is the Wii Points, 2x 2000 cards for $50, finally a decent price for each card. _________________ Games for Sale

GAME were selling them individually for around $25 about a week ago, so maybe we'll start seeing similar discounts more often? _________________

As I really want that rare pokemon from Target.
