I can Confirm this i went down last night and put my Pre-Order on Fable II at my local JB-Hi at Morayfield and they still had some available and they Retail there for $79 Fricken dollars SUCK ON THAT EB!
Question does the Pub games Card give you the 800 points to download pub games or does it actually have the link to the pub games on it...?

After entering the code, it just comes up with Fable 2 Pub Games, so you don't get 800 points as such........shame, cause the Pub Games are crap.

Yeah i understand that LOL!!  i recently got ADSL2 with a 70GB download allowance and i have been going nuts its great to actually download a show in the time it takes to make some popcorn and a drink!

Additional bonus items are available on the Fable 2 website. I won a three piece chicken costume for use in-game. These items are similar to those featured in the Fable 2 Pub Games in the sense that you can import them into the game file.

you can play the game again to try and get all the items. i know coz i didnt want to just have the chicken suit.

Guys, heads up! K-mart have broken the Fable 2 street date! Apparently they're being fined for every copy that has been sold, and won't receive Gears of War 2 until a week after the official release date. Best calling your local K-mart to find out if it's in stock first.

I'm going to call EB Games first thing tomorrow. If this is a repeat of what happened with Mass Effect, EB should receive internal memos tomorrow to order sale of Fable 2. Let's hope K-mart break the street date for LittleBigPlanet!

Sounds like wank to me. Admittedly I didnt read the whole thread, but the original poster who bought the game - just so happens he doesnt get his xbox back for another week. So no gamertag proof.
Anyway i checked at my local Kmart/Target/BigW when I saw this and no luck.
