More beta keys will be available soon through different sites, IGN's beta keys are open now, just email beyond@ign.com with your idea for a LBP level. Make sure "LBP beta code" is the title of your email.

More keys should be coming out in the next few days on a number of different places.

I just sent in my email, but it's IGN and was on Joystiq, so my odds are pretty low. I doubt I've got much chance, but it'd be nice to get in and check it out. Maybe get some 4-player online PALGN coopertition going.

^ Well as i said ealier, Eco gamer has scans up for Harvey norman selling their LBP's for 99...so surely JB would be cheaper?

The asia version of LBP from playasia were 64.25 AUD (with $10 coupon) + about $3-4 economy post.

or maybe $78-80 with express.

Well I finished D/L'ing the beta this morning. Have given it over an hours play.

I think it's cute, but I doubt it will be my thing. I'm hoping it will grow on me (like Warhawk did).

And how do you play with people online?! Maybe I haven't done that tutorial yet.

From memory, theres only 4 story levels in lbp beta. You should be able to access online play if thats the case.

Only 4 levels? Hmmm, guess they don't want to ruin the story mode in a beta hey...

tbh, online play with other players is a real let down, well in my case it was.

I found it really laggy, players woul be lag teleporting around the level and the such. But solo play, where you can play other peoples levels is a real blast. Honestly, some of the stuff other people come up with is amazing.

I've played the Uncharted level, that was ok. I then played the WipEout level, which was pretty lame.

And I'm sure they will have fixed the lag and that by release.

^ If you didnt like those levels, Im pretty sure you're not going to like a majority of the other levels online. I actually quite liked the uncharted level. Also see if you can find the level called littlebigheist. Its a three part level which i found quite fun.

And even though the developers may fix some issues, lag is always going to be an issue in online gaming...

The Uncharted one was solid I guess. Died a few times though, hehe.

Again, I don't want to judge the game too quickly, but I guess I just see a cute, overhyped 2D-like platformer like Sonic (although I loved that game, so what am I on about?!).

Presentation is top notch though. You can see that the developers are very intuitive, creative people.

I'll check out the littlebigheist level though. Also looking forward to creating some levels of my own.
